I have a o3ds with A9LH on the newest firmware. I was trying to download sudokuhax (for some reason) and i tried to install a rop loader in the dsi homebrewmenu. This worked perfectly so i turned off my 3ds and left it for a few hours. I came back to it and tried to run some dsiware, this didn't work. I tried several other bits of software (all dsi related) and none of them booted, they just took me to the "An error has occurred." Is there any way to cure this...

Try reinstalling the stock TWL firm, you can find a download on an ISO site or get it from the Nintendo servers with 3DNUS.

Did you follow the old guide or new guide (using ctrtransfer) when you installed a9lh?
If it's the new guide, Did you make a NANDmin backup when you downgraded to 2.1.0?

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Slightly slower loading but a bit more convenient
