Gaming Playing pre-order early by changing to Asian region?

Hey, as many others I can't wait for Smash Bros. Ultimate to officially release, so my question it the following:

After officially purchasing the game from the US eShop, if I change my Nintendo Account region to Japan, will I be able to start/pre-load the game 8 hours early (living in Central EU)?
Or does the Switch/eShop check for my IP origin? If so, are there any ways to circumvent this?

Probably not, I'm pretty sure it's based on whatever region eshop you bought the game from

From what I know, there's a missing file that is downloaded from server on 12am on your origin eShop... so no :/
if that were the case, you can try disconnecting from internet and changing the date, you'll see it won't work

Damn, I was already hopeful. Because currently the US Shop has the lowest price, downside being that it goes live last of all
No CFW in my case, also I'm on the latest firmware, so no luck I want to play online anyhow
