Before I jump right into it, I have no experience exploiting the Switch.
Anyways, I have a theory of how it would be possible to play Pre-Loaded games before they're actually released. Since the Switch contacts (I'm assuming) Nintendos server to verify the time of the games release and the current time, it would be possible to spoof the response of the server via a proxy or VPN server. If correct, essentially all that would be needed to do this is to spoof the response from the server, obviously easier said then done but it's just a theory.
I was going to look into it a little more but this may spark an idea for someone who has a little more experience reading network packets and faking server responses.

Lets hear some feedback about this idea, I'll keep you all posted if I find anything out.

Nope sorry, Nintendo learned their mistake with the 3ds and wii u, they are gonna try their best not to let it happen again.

With 3ds buying games, all the authentication was done on the 3ds, Not server side, so when you hacked your 3ds,
Faking authetication was easier, because everything was done on the user side(3ds).
So you had control over all authentication.
Same with the WII U I believe.

On the 3DS, CDN contents are protected by a titlekey, and a content lock seed -- the titlekey is stored in the ticket, which is given to you on purchase, and the content lock seed is held back until release date, though Nintendo sometimes fucks up and makes content seeds available early.

On the Switch, content lock seeds don't exist any more, but the way titlekeys work has changed -- they act now the way content lock seeds did on the 3DS.

When you preload a game on the switch, you *do not* receive its ticket until release date. All tickets are personalized, protecting the titlekey with a console unique RSA key on top of the normal protections, and Nintendo is very, very good at not sending users tickets they shouldn't have.

Nobody will be getting into Switch preloads, ever.

Hell, we can't even get into 3ds ones lol.

Nice read tho. Cheers for the deeper information.

Can we PLEASE get a setup where people have to answer some basic fucking answers before they can post in the Hacking & Homebrew area?!!?!?!

Maybe we should, then we could stop stupid fucking questions like these,

Serious question here.

My math skills are fairly poor, but ofcourse I know how to use a frigging calculator and how to work stuff out.

I'm planning to go to college in a year to study Games Development, but over the next year's wait until I get into my course, I want to study and improve as much as I can ahead of time.

What sort of maths skills would You (or others) suggest I learn over the next year? Call it a sylabus of math's categories I should be learning.

There's no reason to be a dick to anyone on here. Just because you think it's stupid, doesn't mean shit. He had an idea that he thought would be helpful so he posted it.

I could say the same thing about your programming questions.

Point is, show some damn respect. If you don't like a post, stay the hell off of it.
