Hello,
I've read through the numerous threads here regarding achieving full speed N64 emulation and have followed the instructions however, I suspect I may not be placing my files correctly on the SD Card and perhaps that's why it isn't running at full speed. I am using Retroarch 1.7.5 with MUPEN64PLUS-NEXT core (both freshly downloaded so I know it's the updated versions) and SX-OS 2.6.1. I am launching Retroarch from the Homebrew Menu using full memory access (Hold R on the game running when launching it).
I have the Mupen64Plus-Next with GLideN64 (master) which included three files:
I have placed the Android AArch64 (containing mupen64plus_next_libretro_android) in the SD root and a copy in Retroarch as I wasn't sure where it went.
I placed the Nintendo Switch folder on the root containing mupen64plus_next_libretro_libnx
I have placed the Win64 (containing mupen64plus_next_libretro.dll) in the root of the SD.
Is this correct? The games run however they are very laggy. Have not yet experienced a crash.
Thank you
