Places to go on a date?

Anyone have any suggestions to take a lady on a date besides the movies or the mall? I have no idea where to take my date this Friday! I asked her if there is anywhere she wanted to go but she said she didn't care where I take her, she said surprise her.

I have no idea to take her so we can have a good time and hopefully it ends well.

So does anyone have any ideas?

Not that I know of. Just the occasional restaurants like Ruby's, Golden Coral, and some grill place I've been to once.

That's a good idea. I'll keep that idea in mind.

the museum, aquarium or zoo are other good places (depending on your location given the time of the year ). fun wintery things include ice carving shows, sleigh rides and such. something which not a lot of people are likely to do on a first date, which may leave a good impression

But try going to places that involve discussion. People always say movies but I feel it's just impersonal. You're going on a date with someone you, odds are, want to get to know better and you spend your time sitting silently next to each other for 2 hours.

Restaurants or local activities are good.

Take her on a picnic in the park and maybe the beach or near the lake (if no ocean is present) at sunset or when the full moon is out.

Here are a couple of ideas:
- Go for a walk through a local park as its a great way to just chat
- Pay attention when you are talking to them as they will often give signals or cues as to where they would like to go without saying it directly (eg, i was chatting with her and she said something about loving a certain park near where she lived and wasnt able to go so I volunteered to take her there)
- Put-Put golf
- If there are any free concerts or events, try going to one of them as it gives you something to watch and do without being obliged to dedicate yourself entirely to it

Those are all the ideas I can come up with at the moment but honestly, I find a simple meet up and walk is great if you dont have a schedule. You can just do what you want and go at your own pace.
