I'm just waiting for someone to make a modchip that fits in the cartridge x3
Hey remember what happened last time someone did that?

picofly is better than hwfly and instinct
Cheapest doesn't mean best. But instinct from what I've seen is 100 times better than hwfly

Someone at reddit seems to be working on a single-piece flex for the Switch Lite:

Seems nice, but I don't know how it's going to be fixed or how it affects the shielding. Anyone else has any info on this?

We have met the individual in question. Reckless has already posted here and has been in discussion with several members.

If it's inside of the circle in the guide, then it's all the same point. A simple continuity check with a multimeter would confirm this, but I also went through the trouble of using online photos of boards that have been shaved down to show the trace routes. Every point that has "two pads" are really two pads that are joined I.E. they are the same pad.

It is purely up to preference as to whether you solder to one or both points.
Soldering to both points gives a little more mechanical strength. Extra insurance in case the wire gets pulled by accident.

In the case of using very small wire, like 40awg magnet wire, one pad is sufficient, but with larger wire like 30awg kynar, two pads are easier to hit and better for anchoring, so yes, your point is valid, but is also situational :)

Highly likely a switch lite design, look at those dat0, cmd,clk line positions
Has absolutely been confirmed as a switch lite design, and the creator has mentioned trying to get ahold of broken motherboards for v1/v2 and OLED boards. They made this one because they have access to a switch lite to take precise measurements.

Why would u even bother putting kapton on the caps?
In the past I once accidentally blew away small smd components when I put too much air speed on them. Lesson learned and since then I always secure smd components before working with hot air around them.

Better safe than sorry

I've had kapton tape move components that I was trying to protect while I worked on other parts with the air wand. Things can ALWAYS go sideways when you're doing hackery, in my experience. Get used to fixing ur fk ups, learn more that way anyway.

I did another lite today. Forgot to disconnect the battery, which made the mosfet burn as soon as I connected cpu+rst wires to the chip. Replaced it and everything worked fine, so I guess I was lucky I didn't short anything important during install. Install time down from 6 hours (first one) to about 4 (second one). Not burning mosfet would have saved me another hour, troubleshooting takes time.

NSFW\TRIGGER\GORE WARNING

Made some little tweaks to the PZero board with some shears. I like it.

I flipped the chip upside down to try and reflect off the shield, it's visible when you really try to see it. Glitches too fast to see anything most of the time anyway though. Fk yeah @rehius!
