I'm looking at the AGB_FIRM rom converter thread, and would like to try using it to play Mother 3. If I were to do so, would it work like a normal 3DS CIA and I can go back to the Home Menu with no issues, or would it be like a DSiWare game, and I'll need to pull out Cubic Ninja to re-launch PASTA?

Just curious since the main reason I'd like to play Mother 3 on this would be convenience, but I'd rather just play on a PC emulator if I have to go through the whole process each time.

You will have to reload pasta from cubic ninja again each time you quit the game because it resets like going out of system settings do. Home button just ask if you want to exit like a dsi ware.

Hi, I downgraded my 3ds and then updated to 8.2 by using ssb. Now when I try to run cn it freezes at 70% when running the exploit. I'm using cn with a sky3ds.
I think that when you update using a cart update it doesn't update your browser. Thats why you are getting the error. Maybe downgrading again and updating with sysUpdater will fix it for you. Don't know of another fix. It's risky so be carefull if you try it.

Thanks, I ended up just restoring my backup and everything is working.

Have you tried reinstalling ninjhax? I have heard it fixes the black screen problem.

I'm trying to run Pasta CFW on a 7.2.0-17E 2DS and it keeps crashing.
I can run Ninjhax fine but when I try to run Pasta CFW it just freezes there.
Is it normal?
You could try using an older version of pasta. Maybe version 1.1.1 could work.

Just tried that too and nothing, it just keeps crashing... That's actually really strange
Btw is Pasta actually compatible with 7.x?
Yes pasta is compatible. The supported versions are all versions from 4.1 to 9.2. In your case I would recommend downgrading to 4.5. In that firmware you can use the mset exploit or even rxtools with signatures patched and emunand 9.8. Be carefull.Downgrading it's pretty risky!. I would also first of all try to find pasta cfw older versions. One of them might work on your firmware. Good luck!

I can't downgrade since I'm using a 2DS... That's the problem D:

Ahh in that case can you Update using sysupdater to 9.0 or 9.2? Downgrading was an easier option but thats the other one I can think of. Pasta seems to be pretty stable on 9.0 Be careful If you are going to try it. Read carefully one mistake can cause brick :/

Didn't sysupdater actually require pasta to run?

Btw does that version work with a 2DS or just with O3DS?
Is it better/safer to wait and get a Smash Bros cartridge to update to 8.1.0E or update with that?
Thanks again for all the help :D
Yes it is comfirmed working on 2ds on page 2of the thread but if you can wait for the smash cartridge. Maybe that fixes your problem and it is safer.
