Context:
I gave my boyfriend a N3DS (non XL) a while ago and we have been doing a soul link of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, and I helped him set up NTR CFW and NTR Viewer so we could both see each other's screen. It worked fine for a while, but a few days ago he gained some issues.
The issues (images linked below):
In NTR Viewer on his computer, mGBA's top screen gets stretched, causing only the left half to be visible. This is only a problem in mGBA, and only a problem through NTR viewer, on his actual screen it looks fine, and if you look at it through the 3DS preview that you get when you go to the home menu but don't close the application, it looks fine again.
A similar thing happens with any of Bubble2k16's emulators, but instead of getting stretched everything just gets blue!
And again, both of these visual errors only happen in the homebrew apps (for some reason only emulators) stuff like Universal Updater, FBI, or actual games look fine and run fine.
Specifically mGBA gets laggy when NTR CFW is running, as you can see it drops like 2/3rd of it's frames.
What we have tried:
Uninstalling NTR CFW and reinstalling the same version, a newer version, and an older version.
Uninstalling NTR Viewer and reinstalling the same version, and a newer version.
Of course, turning it off and on again. (NTR CFW, the 3DS, NTR Viewer, his laptop, etc.)
Reinstalling and updating mGBA
