Gaming PAL copy of Mario Kart Wii on a NTSC/JPN Wii

Have anyone tried playing the PAL copy of Mario Kart Wii on a NTSC/JPN Wii using the Freeloader?

Just wondering so i can update the wiki.

I'm able to play Mario Kart Wii (PAL) version on my NTSC-J (running wii 3.2-J) on wiikey 1.9g [i'm too lazy to update to 1.9s] as yet...
The game was brickblocked and 3rd partition removed (to prevent installing of mkwii channel) and the game play was in English.

I was able to play online, joining WFC and other players (tried out 2 hours) [where the server displayed me as joining the game from Japan.

But you see you used a backup and you were running a modchip.. I just meant using the freeloader with a original copy of the game and freeloader.

Oops...Sorry, i misread about the post..I do not have access to Freeloader (NTSC-J) and the game (PAL) is not released in where i am.

but i'm really need the help from anyone who mastered the technique...
i have a PAL Copy of Mario Kart Wii, Japan Wii with 3.1J, D2CKey and a copy of Freeloader (Jpn Version)

i want to play MKWii on my Japan Wii n i found '[SOLVED] Mario Kart Wii *Blank Screen / Lock up* problem' thread.

i already replace the update on PAL MarioKart to 3.1J_v2 n burn it with 4x speed.

then, i input my modified PAL MarioKart Wii and run it.
but i got the blank black screen and the wii is stucked by this black screen.
what should i do??? what is the mistake... i really need your help..

just buy the jpn version of mariokart online..
if you INSIST on using this pal iso, you have to patch the video modes to ntscj I recon.. use wiifrii

use the gecko region free

was told it already works but you might have to force pal60

yeah!!!! it works!!!! i replace the update file to 3.1j_v2 and it works! thx a lot!
