The sudden power off issue still persisists...
Even with the switch plugged, i wonder if this gnome image has causing this ? because it never happened with the LXDE one
I can confirm it's an issue with the KDE and LXDE images. I haven't tested the image with GNOME.
Nice to know i'm not alone in this situation. LxDE never caused this "Power Crash" tho, must be that battery issue these linux distros has with switch

~ Painless Linux ~
Grab it while it's hot : https://github.com/natinusala/painless-linux
Everything is explaned in the README of the repository.
Now you can boot Linux from any system (Windows, Mac OS, Linux or Android), without any extra work :
The system is an improved version of @00Cancer's GNOME Arch Linux image :
- Download the disk image
- Burn it on your SD card using Etcher or dd
- Clone or download the repository and use the provided scripts (for Android you need to copy 2 files)
- sudo
- chromium browser
- scripts to manage GPU clock profiles (courtesy of @Gigaa)
- SSH server enabled by default
- automatic root filesystem expand to fit your SD card
I will try to keep it updated, with incremental updates, if applicable. I will also keep this post minimal, as everything is already in the README.
Have fun with your almost functional Linux !
This isnt really painless imo.
Takes me forever to actually get into RCM. When I do, linux almost always black screens. Wifi never works because reboot and re-running the exploit also black screens.
Yeah, it happens to me almost every time, its very unstable the way it is right now, fearing that it can mess with the battery forever. Anyway i will be waiting for updates from it
at the end of it to stop your message showing in it.[/QUOTE]Might wanna fix the way you type with quotes there :/
Your supposed to have a
I can, it often freezes up for a few seconds before coming back. Nothing too major. No black screens.Yeah i know, im typing from a cellphone though, Sometimes i mess it, btw u can use this linux for more than 5 minutes without black screen ?

This is a very painful linux :/
Probably just my method of getting into RCM :/I don't see how I can do more painless actually, an image + a boot script is the strict minimal

Its an LCD screen with a wire taped down onto its ground pin, with the other end hanging out to short Pin 10.
If you use it unplugged, you cant use the system at all, plugged it take sometimes until the black crash
