I changed some stuff on the HTML code for auto configure the connection on Nintendo Switch by this way the user doesn't need to put anything , also I tested different ports allowed on NetFront NX and PC by this way I found the correct access, probably is not too much for you, but at least I'm doing something for contribute to the Nintendo Switch Scene sorry if that bother you man is not my intention :) and in all my videos or post I never said that I did all the software. :yayswitch:

And ,I reported some weeks ago this vulnerability to Nintendo:

This will be my last post about this topic I will share more tricks if I find something B-)
Damn, you reported it to Nintendo. Welp I guess we can expect an update patching this soon. Rip remx launcher.

this is nice and all but its too laggy....impossible to play games with this method
Just play turn based games. They don't require precise input and movements. Pokemon or final fantasy should be just fine with this method.

hmm...I shall test in the morning
this better not be malware seems legit based on the comments so far
tldr, does this have input support?

It has limited input support. From what I've read, after connecting to it you have to use Bluetooth to connect the joycons to your PC to have full controller support.

Also, it definitely isn't malware. It's legit. I've used it myself and it works.

I doubt they'll do anything about it. It's not an exploit, it's a HTML5 thing. It's just something they can do from the web browser. It'd be like them patching YouTube.com working.

Are you running the emulator in full-screen mode or windowed mode? I noticed that applications running in full-screen will only show a black screen, but when switched to windowed mode will mirror fine.
I ran it in windowed mode.

when i tested escapists, it only runs in a small window or fullscreen but fullscreen worked fine

using the L stick on the joycon, you can move the mouse and use A to click on things but its best to just connect the joycon to your pc directly via bluetooth

Wasn't it a official dev doing a same kind of thing as well?

Yeah, Rainway you mean? It will probably be much less laggy but its released some time in 2018 (for the switch, first release late 2017)

Keep posting more games/apps you have tested!!!

When your open ThinVNC, open taskmanager, (click more details if its availible to press) scroll down and find ThinVNC. Right click it and click Go to details. Right click it again and goto set priority -> Realtime. This may reduce some lag.

In all honesty the fact that you reported this to Nintendo, obviously trying to cash in on someone's work, and then when you didn't receive any compensation for your stolen information released it and tried to claim credit for the project by not acknowledging the original creators means you're not getting any thanks from myself for what little changes you actually made.

If people wish to sell exploits to Nintendo then that's their prerogative and is fine by me. But don't attempt to cash in on others work and then release to the Scene without so much as crediting the original developers.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

This folks is why I am against the whole bug bounty program.

Fair enough if people want to make a living by finding vulnerabilities and exploits, that's totally okay. But what we have is a system that anyone can report some known vulnerability/program etc by another developer in an attempt to cash in, at which point Nintendo can patch it and offer nothing as compensation due to it being not the original developer of said software.

The original developer gets nothing and his work patched out and wasted. The people trying to make a living out of exploits get no contract and salary due to all work being outsourced and we have guys like this then releasing second hand software with no credit to original authors trying to get scene recognition when their cash in attempt fails.

Sickening.

So far Portal, Portal 2, Half Life, Half Life 2, and Left 4 Dead 2 work but have huge amounts of lag, might just be my bad internet, but with the fact these are all Source engine games it can be safely said all games running the Source Engine will work.

After entering the DNS on the switch it says that an error has occurred so when I click ok for the details it says
Could not connect to the internet
Could not perform DNS name resolution
Please try again later

After some "testing" I can confirm emulators fceux (nes), SNES9x (SNES), and Project64 work

Later I'll try testing some Steam games if I can
Will add these to the list!

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

@SarCATstic Was there much lag in fceux?

Tried some Steam games and a couple of emulators aswell.

Paladins works but the FPS are bad and the controll too.
Delver doesn't appear in screen nor does The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+.
Dolphin doesn't appear. (tried DX12, OpenGL, and Software rendering)
Project 64 works with some FPS problems.

I see some potential in this, at least for old game and emulation. Rainway looks way more optimized tho.
I have an average/good PC and a 300mg internet.

Thanks, I will add them to the OP.

Also Retroarch does NOT work.

Im suprised nobody has got dolphin working as @AeonRipper showed it off in multiple vidoes

Maybe some different setting?

VLC Media Player works so you can watch video files + dvds on the switch!

Different settings or even different builds. I saw he was using DX11, I'll try some settings myself when I can.
