Also, kinda funny how both SS and A start with 17.

And tablet does not means better than mouse.I've played from both and for me I got better aim with mouse and a better accuracy with tablet.

Well it all depends on who you are. Generally a Tablet or a Touch Screen are is easier to get into, and it's much less awkward than you're first times using a mouse for Osu!, but I'm a Mouse-only kinda guy for the game. I started with it and stayed with it since.

Oh, derp, I shouldn't be reading numbers so early in the morning

And what do you mean "ppy can't do it"? BTW, he already removed the ranked score ranking...
"ppy can't do it" as in he will be forced to reset it .The same happened with ranked score.
And no , ranked score is not removed, it's only been removed from the profile and does not updates real time.

I won't say one is better than the other, ti's just what you're used to.Both have their pros as well as cons.

I'm still not understanding your post. What exactly is "it", and why would he be forced to reset it?
I mean ppy cannot remove pp, even if he does so , half of his staff and the forums would just gob on a revolt(or w/e) like what happened during the new Skin and animation he made.

I never said that he was going to remove it. I simply said that the raw stats don't matter, since it's always changing. That's the main reason why PP is hidden on profiles now.
Even though he's slowly hiding raw PP amounts, the current Performance Rank system is here to stay and will always be powered by PP.

Looks like the PP was recalculated and I lost 52 pp :P

Hmm... My raw PP amount increased by about 250...

And considering how bad I am at osu... kinda feel it's unjustified... then again... though my PP increased, displayed performance rank still remains the same :P

Oh I see.
I guess he is trying to make pp more like tp :P

Osu!

I'm so terrible at this game, but I love it. I'm S34NY, so add me if you'd like.

Also, a tip. For those who have trouble, the Z and X keys act as your left and right mouse buttons. I don't know if it's any help, but it sure helps me a ton.

You can't say you're terrible at this game if you've like only 100 play counts.Play more :P

after 108 plays this is the best i can do, i feel ashamed...
eD0aUiU.png
still they're only 108 play counts.I've 18k+ play counts and YayMii as 22k+ play counts yet none of us are even comparable in the top 1k rankings.
You can't really compare yourself until you've like atleast 5k play counts ( play counts even consists of retries so it's not always right)

Today I made my first beatmap...in about 10 minutes. xD
Tell me what you think.
http://osu.ppy.sh/s/97369
It's a bit too easy and short but I'll add harder difficulties in some time.
It's timed well, which is great since fundamentals are always super-important.
Your circle size is too small for a Normal-diff song (it's at 5, should be 4)
There's a lack of extra hitsounds (whistles, finishes, claps)
I'd suggest lowering the volume on the hitsound of the spinner.
And I think you should try to avoid notes overlapping, especially at lower difficulties like this. Maybe try to make more interesting patterns near the beginning instead of just straight lines.

For your first try though, this is actually not bad :) It's a lot better than a few beatmaps I've seen.

Thanks, timing was what I was aiming for, since the first try in making this went horribly out of sync.
I think I know how to fix the beginning.
Also, I'm planning to use the background music for harder difficulties(since this one only uses the foreground one).
Thanks for the response.:)

I'm a bit late but whatever. Yeah, the timing is good and all, but the overlapping notes at the beginning should probably be removed and the circles should be a bit bigger. It looks like you didn't change any difficulty settings as they are all at 5, might want to look at those. Straight sliders are somewhat boring but okay. And it seems like you ignored Distance Snap for quite a few notes which can be confusing, especially things like 00:41:500. Furthermore (but this is nitpicking), your symmetric shapes aren't really symmetric. I'm guessing you placed them by hand; you can copy and paste sliders and rotate and mirror them to create nice looking symmetric shapes. You might also want to use a bit more sliders instead of plain notes and a bit more curvy corners instead of straight 90 degree patterns, but that's up to you. Oh, and you're missing hitsounds, a preview point and Kiai time. The spinner at the end might also be slightly too long. It might also be too easy for a Normal, but I'm not sure about that. You should also get a background that's either 1024x768 or 1366x768 pixels. And it seems you made a mistake when adding the background that causes osu to try to load a file that's not there. I included a .osu that should fix that particular issue (just copy paste the code to your .osu file using Notepad or whatever. There's even an option in the editor that says "open .osu in notepad").

'Sp, I fixed some of the issues like the overlapping notes and the circle size and made it on Easy difficulty instead of Normal. A friend also helped me make a short sample of the Normal difficulty, but I think it's too hard. Also, about the shapes being non-symmetrical...there was copy-pasting and rotation? That would've saved me a lot of grief.
Anyways, it's a bit more updated now. I'll fix the other issues later this month, as I'm busy(last month of school, exams and all), but I'll try and finish this and make more difficulties.
