Gaming Original Wii Sports to feature Ariplane mini-game?

I found on a site that an Airplane game mode was to be added on the first Wii sports but didn't. In the video you can see that an airplane (similar to this of Wii Sport Resort) is flying to an early version of WuHu Island... Some points have been also moved to the Wii Sports Resort...

Bleah, the airplane thing looks boring. if i wanted to fly into rings while flying i'd just play those minigames on spyro 1 and another million flying games.

I remember seeing that before. Sure there isn't much to it, but flying with the wiimote looked like it could entertain you for at least a little while.

It was one of Nintendo's original demonstrations for the Wii remote. It was obviously never actually put into the final copy of Wii sports but it was put into Wii Sports resort.
