Hacking only update HBC?

I am googling and reading but can't make up my mind
Now I am softmodded + bootmii on boot2 + priiloader on wii 4.2e

HBC comes up with a message to update and some techno babble on new bootmii + bootmii as ios and able to ignore and so on and so on.

bottom-line : can I just update HBC to 1.07 and be safe for 4.3 updates (not that I am planning to update but hypothically) or do I need the new bootmii stuff for that also?

If you don't update BootMii, it will get removed when you update your Wii to 4.3.
