one time download link?

Hi, if I want to share a file with a stranger and want it so that only they could access it only once, what do I do?
Let me try and clarify: I would like to share a file with a person and I don't want them to share it without others online. Is there someway I can make a one time download link, so as soon as the link is accessed and/or the files is downloaded, the link breaks for any other people?

Sadly, once they get the file, they can do whatever they want with it. They can email it to others, post it online for them. That is why there is DRM, keys, and online validation, to make it only have one person can use the file. Without those, piracy would be a lot more than it is now.

It would be possible to delete it once they have the file, but they could always just reupload it if they wanted to, so it wouldn't make any differance anyway.

Not possible, you can remove the link or whatever but when they have the file they can reupload it so others can get it. You just have to trust the person not to share it.

Like all others said, there's nothing stopping him from sharing.

Also, why don't you just transfer the file directly via instant messanging?
