Hacking old wii need some help

Hi all
Just a quick question - i have a soft modded wii - modded years ago - I have read up that i can use modmii and re mod - my question is the kids wanna be able to play the new smurfs game - if i rehack will this download all the cios's(??? LOL) needed for this game - Iwas gonna use pimpmywii but read some negative things about it so gonna go the modmii route.
One other thing will this bring back to normal with no channel loaders e.g to wiiflow/and wiimc???

any help would be greatly appreciated

Use modmii. Make sure you make a nand backup. Modmii will update everything to the latest and greatest for you. None of your previously installed stuff will be lost.

use modmii and install cios d2x base 56 + latest usbloader

to DeadlyFoez and zizer many thanks for the replys - can I just ask if I have my original nad back up but how can i nake a nand back up now?
doe modmii have that included or what program should I use - Im sorry if this sounds like a newbie question but ive been out of the loop for a long while LOL!!!!
Also will mod mii install cios d2x base 56 or will i get that elsewhere??

modmii will include creating a nand backup as part of the instructions of the generated guide. It will guide you on how to do it.
