Hacking Ogre Battle wad problems

Trying to run Ogre Battle 64 wad. I insall it via wad manager then try to launch it. When I tried raw NTSC it said something like "can't run this channel". I used wwpack to get rid of the region and it went back to system menu upon launch. I got myself a PAL wad - still the same. I have a hard-modded wii with 3.3E firmware and both Waninkoko's and Hermes cIOS installed. So, am I doing it wrong or it's something else?

It might be a corrupted WAD. Try downloading from another source.

Like I said, I used 2 different wads NTSC and PAL. I think that my 3.3E firmware simply does not support VC and Wii-Ware. I came across a statement that it is first introduced in 4.0 update. If it is true I have a lot of issues with the update, like blocking a mod-chip for example. So could anybody confirm if it is actually needed and if it is what exactly shoud I update: System menu, Shop Channel, IOS?

3.3 does support WiiWare and VC. Try using a raw PAL WAD. Also, even if you do get passed the region protection, you will need to update your IOSes for the game to run.
EDIT: You said it went back to the System Menu upon launch. Update your IOSes. Ogre Battle 64 uses IOS53 or IOS55.

Hi there. This post is a little old, but i don't know what to do here.

I've installed Ogre Battle 64 Pal wad, but it kicks me straight back to the main menu. What do I have to do via Dop-Mii here? I need to download the Ios55 and 53? I have no wireless internet connection. What do I have to klick on NUSD by the options on the bottom?
