Well when you get a chance I need you to compile and see if its fixed for you..
I just tried finished compiling the latest changes but still getting the same crash when Threaded Video option is selected :(

Hi! Can you send me the link to which the pull request submitted is fixing the issue? I'll compile it and check it out in like about 40 minutes.

Yeah, this commit was only to avoid multiple calls to a component object model. Don't think this fixes the threaded video issue.
Hmm, looks like I got over excited for nothing :/ they were def looking into it tho and looked like they made a breakthrough, but I must have misread :( Dang it :P

Did somedody opened an issue on git about the threaded video? Or are they communicating on discord about this?

They were talking about it on discord last night, I was going to create an issue but since they all already knew about it I thought there was no need?
But if you want to create an issue that's up to you :)
Looks like this Threaded Video issue goes beyond just Xbox One, apparently it happens on other platforms too. So fix one fix all :P

Awesome to hear!! I think I'll go with your criteria. If they already know about the problem and are actively working on it, then it's best not to spam them with the issue.

Before I get excited about this I have to ask:

Is Xbox One powerful enough for 16 bits to use RunAhead? Or RunAhead is a no go with the XOne?

I can play Yoshi's Island on Snes9x 2010 and Sonic 2 on Genesis Plus GX with 2 runahead easily ;)

Hi
How I can save on any games on ds emulator and psx ?
Everytime tried save it say fails !

And on pcsx rearmed emulator how make full screen ?

Thank you and sorry if I bother you .
I figured out a workaround to the PSX (and DS) Savestate crash ;)
The problem is those Core dont like loading from the default location they are saved to.
What you need to do is change the Save and State path to .\ (the same path as the Cores folder)
First watch these 2 vids.. (first one shows how to create folders/move multiple files) do what it says but also create SAVE and STATE folders too.
Once you've made those folders, open Retroarch and navigate to Settings>Directory, scroll down to Savefile/Savestate and set the new path to the new folders you created. (don't forget to click "Use the directory" once you navigated to the correct path)
Once you've finished Quit Retroarch from the Main Menu to save, or goto Main Menu>Configuration File>Save Current Config ;)
Done, you can now Quick Save and Quick Load on PS1/DS :)

This next Video shows how to set the correct permissions so you can keep using these folders after you restart your Xbox ;)

This will all probably be redundant eventually but if you need to Quick Save on PS1/DS this should tide you over for now :)

EDIT: Turns out while it does work, it seems to still be unreliable :/ Devs are looking into it tho ;)

this method worked for a few loads but then it started crashing again

edit: fixed it again, saving config or quiting retroarch seems to break savestate for me but changing the directory then loading the game loads savestates for me

edit 2 nope it broke after a couple savestates

I haven't had it crash on me? but tbh I only tested a handful of times.

Yes it's still accurate. We haven't been able to get the DC/PSP/Saturn or Dolphin Cores to work yet, it's up to the devs to get those working on UWP :/
So you think xbox can run dolphin emulator without problem ? ( also 3ds aemulator )

And you think maybe see it soon ?
