Resident evil 2 and dino crisis 2 runs preety great with beetle psx on xbox one x! Crash bandicoot games however... Those dont work well...

Im not near my xbox so I can't check the saving issue (do you mean quick saving?)
Have you tried normal in game saving? Does that work?
As for fullscreen, you can set that in..
Settings>Video>Aspect Ratio.. and change it from Core Provided to 16:9
I have personally had better luck with pcsxr emulator than beetle
First of all, thank you everyone, you just helped me a lot! Now I just want to know if has any way to improve performance on psx core? Run every game a try, but not at full speed, and sound crash a little bit too. Another thing is that none of my mame roms work on retroarch, they crash the app in every core. Tha same roms runs perfectly on retrix

I see pcsx better than beetle
You should use the PCSX core, it's the best one at the moment. I recorded a video, it's running GT2 at 60 fps. I'm using the original Xbox One, not the X.

Im using PCSX, beetle didnt load my roms. I think that the performance varies in each game. Tony hawks pro skater 4 runs ok, but Tekken 3 runs slowly
Mame is very picky when it comes to roms, roms that worked in one version of Mame wont always work on another... Make sure you have the correct set for the Mame version your using

Just stick to In game saves for now
As for Cheats sure they should work, just download the Cheats pack from the Online Updater tab.
Load your game then open the in game option menu and scroll to cheats
Then select Load Cheat File (Replace) and navigate to the game cheat you want.
All the cheats will then be listed below... Select the Cheats you want then select Apply Changes.
Test then out!

we dont need to compile every build that get released lets just wait a bit let them work on retroarch and then by monday or whatever then compile it and test
monday is when i want to release new builds on my channel so maybe wait til then

Could either of you point me in a direction to learn to compile please. I don't mind learning and helping if I can
you need to add the cores to the source before compiling without visual studio
1 get the master build and extract it
2 goto into folders > pkg > msvc-uwp > RetroArch-msvc2017-UWP > cores > x64
3 now here you put the dll's from the windows build > not system, cores you can find these in the maindirectory when you install the pc version, this fixes alot of cores to actually work
4 in the cores folder thats where you put your cores you want added go back to RetroArch-msvc2017-UWP.sln and compile it and it should show your cores when you run the appx
