Hey. This rom can be opened on VGMTrans. The song we listen to is the Mario Kart 64 title song. It sounded familiar...

Hm. If I hold Start, and Select while it's Auto Runnning it requires me to do a ton of tests. (Mostly button, DK Images, and Touch Screen tests.)

Yeah, it sure is. A little different though from the sounds of it.

There is other sound files on it as well.

My DS Lite's setting stayed almost intact, except the time which got reset to default.

I disabled everything from my AKAIO/Acekard 2i and it runs on my 3DS now =)
I can also confirm this, when you turn everything off, it starts with auto run.
Disable everything in the ROM settings and it'll work on AKAIO. I confirm this.

Holding Start+Select will force the tests to not auto-start (we've figured this out already)

Alright, well since that is all over with..

The next project will be to get a TWL cart to run. I have some supplies coming in that will assist in this.

works fine on my ds lite with supercard ds one sdhc and 4gb sdhc card, just had to disable patch and run clean

Doesn`t work on Dsi, tested with Acekard 2i with AKAIO 1.8.7, everything disabled.
hope you get more cards to work, especially dsi cards.

Also, working on DSi in DSi mode loaded from SD card using sudokuhax + Homebrew Channel (hbmenu based).
Does it run any/much differently? e.g. is it faster in flicker test or whatever?

Seems to run about the same, although if you do the tests manually, you'll find that the touch screen doesn't work, but sound does. I half expected that as old homebrew doesn't have touch OR sound.

OK, I got it to work, however anytime I run the self checker it errors me on 73/74, saying something about the EEPROM.

Okay, instead of disabling everything on acekard, you only have to disable Soft Reset to make it work on the Acekard 2I.

Well, the file is now temporarily unavailable. Here is to hoping it isn't about to disappear so soon.

Edit: Oh, it wants to work now.

I can do the collor changing test and the animations, but I cant get tot he menu. This is on an R4DS... i hold start and select, but it gives a white screen, then the tests.
