I can do the collor changing test and the animations, but I cant get tot he menu. This is on an R4DS... i hold start and select, but it gives a white screen, then the tests.

Keep holding start+select until the menu shows.

I still can't get to the menu with the R4DS too. Only the flicker test WITHOUT sound and music whatsoever. Not the coin sound in begin either.

This however, all works fine on the Acekard2I

I think it's funny that it works on a regular Action Replay DSi..

You have to rememeber, the original R4DS was quite bad for homebrew, perhaps this test program has more in common with homebrew than with commercial games.

Sounds about right. Nintendo Homebrew.

I do want everyone to note that the original carts for this do not start up on the DSi and 3DS models. Not sure why they work when ran through the flashcarts.

The flash carts boot into DS mode, so it seems only natural that the cart would have no issues if the DSi or 3DS was already in DS mode.

I don't mind if you guys share it, obviously if you read the .nfo you would know. But, just don't try and take credit or change anything I put out with it, that's all.

Congratulations on finding his valuable piece of technological history, and thank you so very much for sharing it with us!

I'm sure many people are waiting for the DSi Debug Cart ROM Dump, but it'd be wise to probably dump it more anonymously. Let's not forget the DSi is still in sale, and if the debug rom blows the system open, you could be in trouble...
