True. It'll take time, but now, I can get my EZ 3-in-1! \o/

Anything higher than 2 GB uses the SDHC (San Disk High Capacity) protocol, which the slot-2 Supercards do not support.

Doesn't SD stand for 'Secure Digital'?

So wouldn't it mean Secure Digital High Capacity?

On topic, remember to post the filename and such when you dump it.

Oh, if you're having trouble, I dump my DS games with my EZ-3-in-1, R4/SCDS2, and Rudolph's NDS Backup Tool.

Yes, it does.

Do you have an eta on how long it'll be? I'd like to view it in a fileviewer and see what it's guts look like and if we can do anything to it.

As soon as I have the file, everyone on the forums will be the first to know.

Can't wait. I wonder if we can use the Nitro SDK with this? I know there is a PictoChat Nitro in it. It's literally a Nitro emulator, like Ensata is.

MY FLASHCARD (AND BODY) ARE READY.

So.. interesting news. I got the correct 2GB card now and have a dumper program that works ( tested dumping a cart, and the .nds rom runs )

HOWEVER...

When I got to put in the EVA Nitro cart, it doesn't recognize it as being in Slot-1.

This leads me to one conclusion:

The cart is only activated before the start-up of the system. I will test this out on a couple other carts further tomorrow on the "flicker" test cart.

It may very well be possible that this thing cannot be so easily dumped by flash carts and needs something a little more advanced.

Well, the ARDS has been dumped. So I think it is possible to dump these.

Yes, however ARDS isn't developed by Nintendo and I'm sure doesn't run the same code as this does.

I was saying it in the sense that since they both auto-boot, it could be possible to dump them. Maybe a professional Rom dumper like drx could help here.

Is it possible for any of these to help us better understand the 3DS?

No. It won't. None of them are for the 3DS.

What DS are you using? The DS Lite, DSi or 3DS? I might have a solution. Might.

I know none of them for the 3DS. I want to know if they can help us better understand the 3DS.

If the cartridge for the DSi has any sort of component for DSi shop games and apps, it could help us better understand the way the 3DS handles them, since they are the same program ( the games and apps I mean.).

Of course, there could also be other things that I didn't think of.
