Hacking Official DS Colours Question

Hey All,

I am thinking of purchasing a new DS Lite for someone. What I want to know is, Is the "Pink" DS Lite a shiny or matt finish and the same for the new silver colour coming out next month.

P.S. As a side note, does anyone have any pictures of the Silver DS Lite, or did Nintendo not release any offical pictures yet?

Pink is shiny, has a clear layer of plastic on it giving it a very glossy look. The silver I don't know.

the silver one is metallic looks very nice. my brother has it, i bought it from superufo.

I'd love a silver DS, but don't really want to replace either of my DSes at the moment. Anyone know of any place that sells the replacement shell kits in silver? The only official colours I've seen are white, black and pink.
