i downloaded this 1 Bloody_Platinum_european_english_1.0.rar
and downloaded 3541 - Pokemon - Platinum (U).nds
i put the rom into the map from Bloody_Platinum_european_english_1.0.rar
than i patch..
and he say: Failed! Input checksum is invalid...
can u help?

my best guess would be that you need to use matching versions of files. You're trying to use an American version of the game with the European patch. try either downloading the European version of the game, or get the American version of the patcher

well i got it working.

the first time i tried to patch it, i was using a system running Vista, and i suspect thats why it didnt change the file at all.

The second time (on a non-vista system, this time), i must have done something retarded in my patching, because i actually killed the file and brought it down to 0 bytes. thats why it was freezing my DS.

this third time i took a fresh vanilla platinum (U) rom, and ran the patcher v1.0 english (the american one, not the euro one), and loaded a save file from directly after the intro to the game. my character's sprite was white now, and it looked like there was snow on the ground, so im assuming that means it worked. Will look into it further, to make sure everything applied, but I think it finally worked. Hope that my experiences can help anyone having problems

Thanks, applied the patch with no problem. But i'm going to play the vanilla version first, as it is my first time on pokemon ds (been playing the others for some time now)

Maybe get a mailing list to notify of new versions of the hack? =)

In my opinion, you rock. I've played your Bloody Diamond, but not this one due to a slow internet connection, although I do plan to play it soon. I really like the idea of being able to catch all 493 Pokemon from one game. I was curious as to the tools that you used to edit the sprites in your diamond hack, for I have fished the ocean and returned with little more than a sunburn. Once again, I applaud you and your wonderfully amusing creation.

I have a few questions, have you putted the regicaves in the game and could you catch the 3 legendary birds in the platinum? (the pdf says that they are only for bloody diamond)
