That's a tab. It requires a special OTG USB cable or an external OTG dock. You can't just use a regular USB cable
Try to use another cable, if it still doesnt work, change only the ports around. Weirdly mine wasnt working cuz of the ports
OP's galaxy tab supports OTG but only switches to OTG mode when it senses an OTG cable plugged in. That's exactly his problem.
Check under /system/etc/permissions and see if the android.hardware.usb.host.xml configuration file is present.

It could just be the problem with NXLoader, I tried with my gs7, galaxy tab 2, and moto g5+ but it never worked. Then I tried he new Rekado 1.0.3 app that is based on NXLoader and only my tab 2 didnt work, the other 2 lhones work spendidly
