Hi,
I have an HTC U11, and bought a USB C to USB C cable.
I assumed being a 'flagship' I would have no issues, but nothing seems to come up.
I plug in phone, turn on Switch (auto RCM)…. nothing.

Can anyone confirm if this phone works? Or, what am I doing wrong?

Read the post right before yours. When everything passes make sure your cable is actually OTG capable.

That 'OTG Checker' app only checks the Android OS.
The cable I got is probably a POS from Hong Kong....

AFAIK Nxloader is only for Android

And if it doesn't say OTG in the details of where you got it. Don't even count on it working.

Unless you purchased a switch pro controller then that cable works

I installed os sx last night with this and took ages ended up it was the usb c cable. Not the otg but actually the usb-c cable used another and works straight away. Just an idea.

Sorry, I should've elaborated.... I have no problem running TegraRCM GUI from my Windows PC and my Pro Controller cable. I just wanted a 'portable' solution since I'm flying international soon.
I reckon it's the cable.... I've sent them a message and see if they reply.

Just buy a OTG adapter and you're good to go.

Did you do it using the app? i just downloaded the app, can you teach me how to upload the payload?

Yep - it was the dodgy cable I bought that was the problem.
Buy yourself a USB OTG adapter, use that with the pro controller cable - winning!

Ahh, did you use a OTG with USB C to USB A? Did you try it with USB C to USB C? As i have a lot of C to C cables lying around and would make sense to use them and not buy additional OTG haha. I will need to get an OTG if i want to try it.

USB C to USB A - plug in pro controller cable. Never an issue.

My friend uses a USB C to USB C cable with no issues. Obviously better quality than the ebay garbage I bought. To each their own. But for me, USB OTG adapter is the way to go.

Try both sides of the plug, for me adapter side has to be in the phone.

I have a s8+ which is supported but could never get it to launch. I installed a second android app, forget them name, and with them both on my phone, nxloader does now launch - weird glitch!

Not sure why but my USB C to C is not working, do you know how he got it to work? Would love to use C to C instead.

Would like to know this as well, the less components needed, the better.
