Hey!

Looking to sell some of my game carts, as I don't play them anymore. I made xci dumps of the games (made using nxdumptool). Later found out carts can get banned, so i'm looking to remove these so the carts don't get banned for the new owner. Dumped:
XCI with certs (split)
Certs
ExeFS (don't know what this is, but I dumped it).

Does removing the folders located at D:/switch/NXDumpTool do the job, or are there traces elsewhere? Never installed the dumped games.

The certificates won't get mixed up if I re-install another legitimate nsp dump of these games made from a different cartridge, right?

Thanks!

open each of xci in this app and remove the cert from them. that way it removes the ties to the original cart. but I would only use these non cert xci in emunand offline as that will get you ban not using the xci themselves alone

thanks

Just want to make sure no traces of the certs are left on my switch so the carts get banned. Will remove those certs and install as NSP, but no certs are used from another location on my switch right?

use goldleaf or tinfoil and go to ticket section and check what you have on the switch and remove them from there

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
