Jep, DBI is the best. Boring GUI, but outstanding skills.
I use it to install special refusing NSPs and for filetransfer via cable+PC.
Best is the MTP responder !!! Fastes file transfer I know.
For just managing the files in Switch or on SD card.
Or simply getting the save files for all games, no Checkpoint needed.

Me too until 3 weeks ago
Mmmhm, even installs from external USB drives (where my XCIs are anyway) but there doesn't seem to be a source code available.
In that github repro are only the readme and those silly/funny pictures. The same applies to the "source.zip" in the release section.

@JRoad I love the auto rename feature but is there a way to also include the game version in this pattern [1.0.3] instead of only [v65xxx]?
I use always both, so "instead" makes no change for me.
You shouldn't suggest to delete something that could be usefull to others, you should better ask for add something you want,
so "instead" is always a bad suggestion.

lol I didn't ask him to remove this globally for all users in the next update of his tool. I just wanted to know for myself whether there's an options ini file where I could adjust these sort of things.

Edit: But since you claim to use "both" (which includes my wanted [1.0.3] sort of pattern, maybe you might want to help me out how to achieve it.

When i use a game that needs 11.00 and patch it to 10.2.0 it would start
Dunno if that's a question (since it's missing the question mark) but yes, theoretically it works that way unless the game really requires something from 11.0.0+ (which is unlikely).

@JRoad Two questions:
  1. How would I create an SX Autoloader file for my games located in usbhdd:/switch/xci/ and where would I have to place that file on my SD card?
  2. Love your auto renaming feature but how can I configure it to add the game version in this pattern as well except only the "[v655360]" pattern?
    Code:
    [1.0.3]
In fact I want the destination filename to be something like:
Code:
Rocket League [01005EE0036EC000] [1.25] [v2686976] (1G+1U+24D).xci
(note that [1.25] in the middle)

This is one of those apps that justify going homebrew.

So far not-merging correctly:
  • 1-2-Switch Ver.1.1.0
  • Bubble Bobble 4 Friends v196608 (Ver 1.1.3E)
  • Asterix & Obelix XXL Romastered Ver 1.0.33.0
  • Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 v262144 (Ver 1.4.0)
  • Kirby Star Allies v327680 (Ver 4.0)
  • Super Bomberman R v720896 (Ver 2.2)
Anyone with better luck on those?

UPDATE:
The specific updates in list still do not work no matter what I tried.
Still waiting input from anyone who has succeed in any of those particular ones.
All merge successfully in NSC Builder (contents check ok), but the console only reads Ver 1.0.0
