I am sorry to bother you. I appreciate all you work. This thing is so darn expansive now. I think it needs a manual (you prob made one and I am just daft). I tried to answer my own question fiddling around with the menu and I just got nowhere. So I am curious after using tinfoil 11.0. It says that it could not parse the name of some of my files. I am a bit unsure of the naming convention/syntax it is looking for. Does NSC builder support batch renaming of xci files? If so what is recommended way to name them to avoid the slow loading issue? I figure I ask you cause I scour the internet and I found nothing...

Help me obi wan you are my only hope...

Of course if someone else knows I will take knowledge from anyone...

I'm trying to use the feature to patch out the Nintendo account link. I go to advanced, add the nsp, process, and select the option

The patch fails due to missing "advlist.txt" does anyone know what that's about?

bumping for new page. Has anyone successfully used this feature? Currently can't play Bloodstained or Remnants of Naezith, as both require Nintendo accounts linked. I've tried using kefir to make a fake one. This didn't work - and it took ages to manually restore all my saves from checkpoint!

Trying to use NSCB to patch the NSPs, I keep getting the advlist.txt error which isn't mentioned in the guides from what I can see

Would like to know this too. I use NSC builder to patch and build my xci games but i dont want to upgrade my switch to get the key from it yet

I can't see any new keys with Lockpick_RCM.

But I have 3 games Hyrule Warriors AoC, Need for Speed Hot Persuit and Immortals Fenyx Rising won't mount with SX

so I remember this issue happening before and so I verify Hyrule Warriors AoC, and also made a new file with keygen patched to option 10: 9.0-9.0.2. one under the latest, and it worked

so is it an SX issue again? i don't know if this has anything to do with it but my gc reader is on fw 11 fuse now but my HOS is fw 11 too

Can I patch an Update NSP that normally forces me to update to a newer app version ?
Even if already had installed this newer update once, it should not force to update
if using the older version again after uninstalling the newer one.
I ask for the SNES/NES Online updates.
FW is not the topic in my question !

I want the old updates work without using a special install app or trick, but just by paching it.

@18Phoenix, No you can not. It is not an update function but firmware feature. You can Reset required version in some apps.

Yes, I use that way to make old versions startable. And that's not helpfull for selfmade XCIs with an old update.
But I search for a different possibility because some app are able some not.
OK, the FW checks the update version. But isn't it possible to change this nr. somehow, so that it thinks it's the newest ?
Just change v524288 to v589824, something like that. That would be the solution.

It is already released, that's the point !!!!
The new version is very bad, it adds a limit to SNES/NES Online, don't want that at all.
So I want the previous version to work fine, NOT the current, and that without any annoying and blocking update force.

Yeah,today I heard the first time, that at uninstallation you can reset the required version.
Didn't know that, I always uninstalled the normal Switch way. Now I'm smarter ^^

What does it means? No files were actually processed. Tried to merge Pokemon Sword+DLCs+second to last update.


Edit= Reinstalled NSC builder. Everything works now.

I dumped my Doom Eternal cart to remove the linked account requirement (so I can play it on my offline emuNAND) and it doesn’t seem to have worked.

i split the NSP because the file is around 17GB (my sd is formatted to fat32). So I put it on my SD root to install.

Any ideas?

Has anyone merged base game (7,43 gb) and update (8,77 gb(!)) of Spyro Reignited Trilogy successfully into a single all-in-one XCI?
I always end up with an XCI of the base game only, that doesn't seem to include the (way bigger) update.

Edit: Nevermind. Used base NSP instead of base XCI + the update and now it works. Don't know why but seems something went wrong while dumping the XCI.

Jep, DBI is the best. Boring GUI, but outstanding skills.
I use it to install special refusing NSPs and for filetransfer via cable+PC.
Best is the MTP responder !!! Fastes file transfer I know.
For just managing the files in Switch or on SD card.
Or simply getting the save files for all games, no Checkpoint needed.
