so i tested this and i can say the fix94 version of wii64 r2 a test modification of him can run mortal kombat 4 without the health bar disappearing
Besides Wetrix, you can add Star Wars Episode I - Racer to the list.

for trilogy i think any wii64 rice version should run it
Trilogy has been running great since aeons ago on Not64/Wii64.

bump... anyone?

i did further testing. this is wii64 readme:
**VideoMode**

* 0 = VIDEOMODE_AUTO (default)
* 1 = VIDEOMODE_PAL60
* 2 = VIDEOMODE_240P
* 3 = VIDEOMODE_480P
* 4 = VIDEOMODE_PAL
* 5 = VIDEOMODE_288P
* 6 = VIDEOMODE_576P

i tried every possible choice, but nothing seems to change.

then i switched wii64gl dol file with not64 dol (from official mupen64 archive), and 240p video mode works well. i even tried to put a working not64 settings.cfg in wii64 folder, but no result.

is 240p video mode broken for wii64?
thanks, spinoman.
No 240p with Wii64, either. Only Not64 240p working for me.

i took a look to the sources of not64 and wii64, there are two different version of GraphicsGX libgui library and two different ways to manage video formats. however, it's beyond my skills to suggest a fix.

Hey guys, one hour ago @Extrems put a new update of Not64, its latest version is v20210820, get it from here:
https://github.com/extremscorner/not64/releases

Greetings

EDIT: @Extrems @pedro702 Tested Dr. Mario 64 again with that new release but still these bugs i mentioned.

Here's a comparison of GFX glitches shown in Not64 (glide GFX) which doesn't happen in Rice GFX (Wii64).

However, in Wii64 Rice, the gameplay is just worse, as shown:

Not64 (with FB textures enabled, but still the problem of invisible pill)

Now let's see if @Extrems can fix in a next release these bugs with DR. MARIO 64 and also some issues with these games:

  • DR. MARIO 64
  • BOMBERMAN 64
  • INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTAR SOCCER 64
  • PILOTWINGS 64

Greetings to all
I'm using the version of not64 by Extrems from this post on wii u using a forwarder but once i load into it i cant use the wii u gamepad controls only wiimote controls. Is there a way to get gamepad controls working for this version or do i use the n64 emulator from your donkey kong 64 post?

not64 doesnt have wiiu gamepad controller and never did, you need to use wii64 1.3 or wii64 1.3 rice

Hi my friend, I have a question. before I had the wii64 which did not run games from the usb or hdd, in edta verdion, how much has the compatibility risen?

Now you can load roms on Rice GFX from USB without any trouble on Wii64 1.3
The compatibility has not risen very much, but it still lets you play some of the best games for the N64 on the Wii.

Is there any way to switch between rice and glide gfx on the fly?
Nope.

You need to close first the glN64 GFX version of Wii64 first for then switch to Rice GFX of Wii64 from HBC or forwarder channel and viceversa.

Thankyou

I'm going to check, in my wiiflow my project, I included a section to activate arguments in the roms difficult to emulate. this would work great for me

could you send us your "section" for these roms difficult to emulate? i'm also interested in that since i'm making SRLs :)

well, our project is based on not64. consists of editing the plugin arguments (.ini file). It's based on what they've done. basically the idea came to us with the zorg project. he edits the meta.xml, we edit the .ini of the wiiflow plugins

Hi Saul, how are you? look what I've achieved on wiiflow with the not64 and wii64 beta 6 plugin. modify args in the ini to load specific settings for each game. I leave you an attachment

example:

[PLUGIN]
arguments=rompath = "{device}:/{path}/{name}" | SkipMenu=1| Núcleo=1| CountPerOp=2|2xSaI=0| FBTex=0| ScreenMode=0
bannersound=n64/n64.ogg
consolecoverid=nintendo
covercolor=FFFFFF
coverfolder=N64
displayname=N64 (Not64)
dolfile=N64/not64.dol
filetypes=.n64|. v64|. z64|. zip
magia=6E363461
romdir=ROMS/n64
rompartition=-1

I will mess with these settings for some N64 games :)

@Shoche

Why not?:

My Wii64 WiiFlow plugin is also included on the WiiFlow Plugins Pack by @Tetsuo Shima (now maintained by @RunningSnakes):
https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-great-quest-for-wiiflow-plugins-tm-a-call-for-adventurers.563575/

(in case you want to use the one from WiiFlow Plugins Pack you might need to update the dol with the current version on my thread)

thanks, I'm using your plugin, it works excellently.

Another question regarding the args.
I understand
NativeDevice=0 is SD
NativeDevice=1 is USB

there will be a number for autom?
