ROM Hack nooB rom question

I'm an avid Wii modder, but about to dabble with my kids NDS.

I'm about to receivea DSTT for a DS Lite we have around the house.

My simple question is, will (EU) roms work on a (US) NDS ?

Trying to kleep this as simple as possible, and not spend all the time modding the NDS< I have on the Wii

DSTT is one of the worst carts. You shouldn't have get it.

They're not all bad. One of the SDHC clones is great.
