For the PS1 emulator available on the app store, where do I place my BIOS file, and what does the BIOS file need to be named specifically? My search brought up questions about Sega CD, which I would also like to get working if possible. Also, do we have any compatibility charts available for the specific emulators available on the app store? I noticed for the Wii, there are staple games like Tenchu and FF8 that don't work at all (or at least for the emulator I was looking at on the wiki). I was wondering if the Wii U has the same compatibility issues?

PS1 doesn't work on wii u yet, we need a dynarec. You can look on the wii u retroarch thread for what bios to use, but the games play at like 10fps, its terrible. look for the official wii u retroarch thread, it will tell you how to set up your sega cd bios also.

Thanks! Disappointed that I can't play Tenchu but great to actually know that I can't so I don't waste my time. I'll take another look at that main retroarch thread to figure out Sega CD.

Sega cd works perfectly though. every game i played worked like when i was a kid playing it on my sega cd. for the bios they have to be named correctly and placed in the retroarch/system folder, they will let you know the name scheme on the thread.
The ps1 isn't out the window, we are working on a bounty for the dynarec, but have only raised 250 bucks, it would be cool to find a coder who could port the dynarec from wiisx to the wii u though, maybe some day
