i was more directing you to everything else mentioned in that post... assuming you've followed JoostinOnline's directions you should already have that cIOS installed.

have you tried all of that with Wiiflow continuing to give you trouble?
Yes, it doesn't work even after turning wii connect 24 off.
Oh and I just noticed that I do have that IOS.
Dunno why WiiFlow isn't working......

Re-Mod with ModMii. Tell it your wii has not been previously modded (it will overwrite previous mod). See Sticky.

Can you like stop quoting JoostinOnline? I've read all of his posts.....
I just want to use WiiFlow.

See this post. Let us know if that helps at all.

pay no mind to the CFG loader part...
WiiFlow is one of the best loaders available, but Cfg still has slightly better compatibility. The nice thing about Cfg and WiiFlow is that they don't use the same folder for settings, covers, etc. Because of that, you can use them side by side without issue. If Cfg doesn't work, then Zorua can go back to using WiiFlow. It's better to rule out the loader as the cause instead of just saying "well I don't want to use it."

Edit: Btw, Zorua has the correct cIOS setup now, so there is no need for ModMii.

Downloading CFG.
I'm on a very slow connection atm.
Will report results after an hour or so.

How can I make my wii play DVD movies. I have Mplayer CE and it plays movies from USB and SD with no problem, but when i try to run a DVD movie it just says mounting drive and sits there and does absolutly nothing. It dosent even spin the DVD at all. And i have to turn off the Wii by holding the power button for like 5 seconds. Can anyone help me with this.

How old is your Wii? If you bought it within the past two years, it has almost no chance of being DVD compatible.

How can i check that. BTW if it helps, it didn't come with wii sports resort and the wii motion plus. (I do still have the original box).

When did you buy it, and what color is it?

Edit: And what is the serial number (bottom of the Wii)?

It's white. And i bought it like two years ago.
Serial: LEH25228734[1]

P.S it's European.

My question is: is it safe to update my softmodded Wii (4.2E, Trucha Bug restored, a bunch of cIOSs installed, priiloader, bootmii as an IOS) to 4.3 through official updater?
And is there any point in doing such stuff?

It's not very safe, and there is no point in it. You will only lose features by updating.

And one more: when I boot some programm on start instead of WiiMenu (using priiloader), I randomly get a bunch of artifacts. Why is that?

Used ModMii to download all active IOSs and CIOSs. Installed them but WiiFlow still crashes with a black screen after the initial AlienWare symbol.

Got a 4.3U USA console, Letterbomb installed HBC and BootMii, the NAND backup worked fine, but now I get a (DSI) Exception Occurred with a code dump whenever I try to install the IOS files. I used both methods to troubleshoot this step, but I get the same error. Even when I try install individual IOS files, still no luck. I am following the guide stickied at the top of this forum..

EDIT DISREGARD SORRY TO BOTHER! I was trasnferring files thru a Mac and i accidentally tried to batch the empty "._fff.ios" so no sweat!

sounds like u are installing ALL cIOSs... if u are installing multiple cIOS249's, only the last one will stay installed (overwriting all the other before it). You want to install just one wad, cIOS249 d2x [56] v6
Tried installing that wad again(that was what I had previously installed). It's still crashing.......

Is it safe to go online with a softmoded Wii that has the HBC and a lot of homebrew installed in it? I mean, does Nintendo check if you have the HBC or other homebrew installed often, or just on specific cases (ie: when playing Mario Kart online)?
