I've been out of the scene for a while and need to update someone's Wii. What is the best version of d2x and wiiflow to use? Are there any other major cIOS updates within the last few months?
Config is still the best loader for compatibility, so I don't know what revision of WiiFlow you would want. As far as cIOS's, you want this setup:
202[60]v5.1 rodries mod
222[38]v4
223[38+37]v4
224[57]v5.1 rodries mod
249[56] d2x v6
250[57] d2x v6

Thanks. Gonna stick with wiiflow since it's what the person I'm doing this for is used to. Did a quick look through the wiiflow sticky and got an idea of what I need now. Too bad wiimc doesn't seem to be active anymore, the proposed gui mockups looked a lot better.

I've managed to fix the problem with my Wiimote by re-syncing it, but now I have another problem in that I can't use the Yu-Gi-Oh! exploit to re-mod my PAL Wii and I'm still not too sure what cIOS I need to use for the more recent games.
EDIT: I've finally managed to get into Priiloader via Multi-Mod Manager and enabled the mods concerning system updates.
Ok it's been a long time since I have used my wii and want to run Xenoblade Chronicles but each time I boot it it simply says "reading disc" and will either keep saying that or return back to the wii menu. I get the feeling my wii is a mess and I need to sort out what ios I have installed but am lost in what to change, can anybody help?

Is there anyway to get the data off my backed up SSBB disk? My new wii can't read DVD -R disks and I don't think that the disk drive in PCs can read wii disks either. What can I do?
Yes. I'm talking about this.Oh, that was never official, so it's not something you would expect to be released.

Your Wii is extremely out of date. Use ModMii to rehack it and update all your IOS's, as well as install Priiloader to block updates.
Please use spoiler tags next time you post a syscheck.

Either way, you need to install Priiloader and enable the block disc/online update hacks. If you don't know how to do it, just rehack your Wii with ModMii. It should be a pretty past process.
Can someone help me with something:
I have a 2.5tb hard drive. Whenever it is plugged in (either port) it crashes on WiiMC. But it works on USB Loader GX just fin. As soon as I launch WiiMC, I will see the screen for a sec then it will crash. I didn't want to create a new post, I already reported it in the WiiMC forums but I'm not getting any help anywhere. Is there a fix for this?
How can I change themes on my Wii and is it safe. I am running firmware version 4.3E and i hacked my wii using the ''Hack any Wii 4.3 and below'' guide, so i have priiloader.
