How do you hack on Wiiware and Virtual Console games? On the homebrew channel, there are apps that let you download codes for Wiiware and VC. But if I download them, activate them, and go to Gecko OS, there's no option to play VC/Wiiware games.

i installed ios249 with cios38 r14, i got wii fit plus to boot with neogamma but still some questions/problems...

wii fit plus will recognize my balance board but not me standing on it, any suggestions?

i still cannot get the contra rebirth wad to install.

is there a channel wad for neogamma r7?

I used DVDx installer 3.4 before (Even though my wii was only version 3.3). It installed successfully. Then I updated my wii to version 4.2, no homebrew or anything was erased. I changed my IOS so I could use the CoverFloader. However, I don't like using my very limited flash drive, so I want to go to disks. I figured that because I updated my wii, and changed the IOS, I would lose that DVD reading capability. So I went to re-install it, but found that I couldn't. It said it wouldn't load the stub because DVDx was made for IOS36. Do I need to go to IOS36 and reinstall DVDx? If so, how would I go about doing that?

On FCEUGX Wii, there is a Game Genie ROM needed for full Game Genie support... I have the Game Genie ROM, but what do I do with it? Will it fix my Game Genie to FCEUX PAR errors?

1.) does Wii fit recognize your balance board? could be you broke your balance board.
2.) are you getting an error code when you try to install Contra wad? how are you trying to install it?
3.) yes google it!

doesn't it belong in the FCEUX folder located on the root of your SD card?
i'm curious cause i was thinking about game genie myself.

What? trying to figure out what you're saying is giving me a head ache,i'd like to help but what?

i can gather you have a Wii 4.2 e or u, you have HBC Dvdx installed what about bootmii? sound s like you ran the hackmii installer. Which IOS did you change? have you any idea how many there are?

Bottom line is you left me with more questions then anything else.

yes, wii fit 1 recognizes the board and it works fine. wii fit plus recognizes it but wont recognize me standing on it.

i tried finding it but now that i know it exists i will try harder.

What I'm missing, and can't find any info on anywhere - exactly what needs to be done to enable the wii to run homebrew apps, instead of getting the 'this is not a valid wii application' error message? Is this where the Trucha Bug comes into it?

I don't know but when that happened to me i was running 4.1u.
I haven't had that prob since upgrading to 4.2u

I upgraded from 3.3E to 4.2E using the safe updater on here, but I hadn't tried any apps before that...

I need help badly, don't have time to search for a common scenario here.
Here's the thing, my mom just bought a new WII, my sister and I set it up earlier then we played Rock Band, the genius that I was, updated the the software...
Waited for a couple of minutes until it was done, then WII hung. I had to turn it off, and bam, ERROR 003 happened.

Didn't modify anything, the WII is brand new.
Freaking WII is KOREAN VERSION I believe
I am noob with WII, really don't know anything about it.

I really need a quick fix for this, maybe a master reset will work? but i don't know how.
My mom is now morphing into dragon form. She's about to eat me. So please HELP ME.

This is a well known issue; updating to 4.2 WILL brick a region converted Korean Wii.

Don't know if it's fixable.

I have done the twilight hack once before on my wii, but deleted it (I can't remember why)

So yeah, I deleted the homebrew channel, is it safe to do this hack again?

I am also on FW E3.4 so am I okay to do this hack?
