Hi! I took out my pretty, pretty outdated Wii, and wanted to update some things. Everything fine, I updated Priiloader etc. but then, I wanted to update Wiiflow and I got the latest release of Wiiflow Lite, I wiped out the old carpets and fresh installed everything but every time I launch the application from the HBC, it sends me back to the system menu. I am 100 % sure that I have the correct IOS because the old Wiiflow version worked pretty good, via USB and all. But now I can't even start it. What should I do?

Make sure the sd card adapter is set to "unlocked". Double check that you have all the files on the sd:/apps/WiiFlow Lite folder.
The latest version is v5.5.3, make sure to get it from the official thread.
Unplug the usb drive for the moment.

Oddly enough, I tried the old version (have a backup from sd card) and it works but does not read the HDD. But it launches the app and all.

I'm at a loss, here.

Not sure what's going on with your setup.

this is the wii, right? because I could create a forwarder to wiiflow from the wiiu menu easily.

Hey All.

So i want use custom Gamecube game channels on my Wii. i found a site that has all of the Channels pre made they are .wad and i can install tham, they show up on the main menu on the wii (sw rogue squadron 2) as there own channel.
but for some reason the game just wont start. i have the game on my Usb/games/(gamename)/
any idea what to do? how do i get the games run from the main menu? please help.

yep. i see the games on nintendont and on usbloadergx and i can play tham from there

Then probably the drive/games path that's written on the forwarder wad is not the same as yours. Either create a new one yourself or edit the existing one with the correct paths..

yeah i thought of that but dont know how to edit the channel to get an idea of the path

I think you can edit it in hex, but it must be the same length or shorter, not longer. than the one that's written in the file.

I have no experience with that, so i can't help you. Try @godreborn's suggestion.

might be able to find the exact location and modify yours, just look up boot.dol in text with search in HxD.

hmmm there is no boot.dol i just have the channel installed and an iso of the game :/ or the channel .wad

nope cant find anything..... well sort of found the word Root but i doubt that will solve it

So if i get this cortectly it should be like thi :

usb/sd: apps/nintendont/boot.dol
Game usb/sd: ugsw/(gamename).iso

no, you need game name [title id] in the games folder. check if the title id is the same. that's where it will be in hex, not sure if it's the same location in all of them, but it's pretty easy to find.
