Hardware non modded wii boots to black screen only

Hello, im trying to figure out the problem with this wii I just got...

The previous owned told me it was not modded, it just stopped working one day and he stuffed it in a drawer and got a new one...

So now its my problem.

When I turn it on it the screen flickers for a quick second but it doesnt load the health screen.
The light goes green but no screen and no sound.

I tryd to sync a remote to it but nothing happens.

to turn it off I have to hold the power button down for 10 seconds and the light goes red...

I read another topic and it looks like it could be the bluetooth?

How do you tell if thats the problem?
I plugged in a GC controller and nothing deiffernt happens.

You just tried plugging in the GC controller and nothing else? Did you try SaveMiiFrii?
It might be the Bluetooth module, otherwise it could be the 4.2 boot2 brick.

You have to take apart the gamecube controller, plug it into port 4, press and hold all 4 directions at once, then power on the wii. Not sure where you go from there.

Thanks for the quick respons Gordinio, but

not modded

I tried booting to priiloader with reset, I also booted with a bootmii SD card... nothing

So IF it is modded it doesnt have prii or bootmii as a boot2

but like I said the guy said it wasnt modded...

So, I tried plugging in a GC controller into port 4 & holding down L R U D all at the same time and power on...
it did the same, flicked screen and stays black

You can run SaveMiiFrii on an unmodded Wii. Plugging in the GC controller into Port 4 and holding down the directional pads IS SaveMiiFrii.
Anyway, it's either the Bluetooth module or the 4.2 boot2 brick.

Are they all the same, as in No Particular one for certain a wii?
Wheres the best place to get em?
