Anyone else stay up all night to get away from people? I just turn on music, pop in my headphones and browse away.

I used to be an overnight worker. When I quit, I could never get out of the habit of staying up all night.

Sunlight is my signal to go sleep. I prefer the night and kind of hate daytime.
I don't dislike the daytime, Just don't care for my neighborhood or people in general.
Yes. I run, because it's fun to get out and pretend the world is empty. Even suburbia looks so much more beautiful without people.
Sometimes i listen to my music outside in the grass, But i prefer using a telescope and looking at the moon among other Astral Objects.

I sleep at some random time, then wake up at the morning to go to work.
The time I usually sleep varies from 1 hour to 5 hours a night.
Sometimes I feel like a dead zombie.
The reason is not to get away from people, as I do that all day round no matter the time, but because I feel like there are always still things I want to do on a given day.

I don't care about other people ...
If I wouldn't have to get up early because of my Job I would probably stay up most of the night.

When I was jobless a few years ago I actually stayed up all night and went to sleep at 10-12 midday and slept until evening XD
But it kind of sucks as most stores are closed in the evening and there is only shit in TV plus you can't listn to loud music or watch anything a little bit louder as you would bother the other people.

Still as I have a sleeping disorder I usually only lie down in my bed without sleeping most of the night.

One thing I noticed recently is during this time, I'd feel like I should sleep earlier than usual because there's nothing to do, but somehow I manage to be up until past sunrise. Yesterday for example, sleeping at 7AM. I got a major burst in energy looking for something porn related, one very specific clip, and I found it, after enjoying it, I went to sleep. Even now I'm managing to get by just playing Red and Yellow in two different consoles (VC). When I plan out things, it's always during the day, at night, past 12AM specifically, just, nothing. I could be watching movies, but ah, I don't know. A few days ago I did watch Kill Bill, a fan edit that combines both movies, made some great changes and additions essentially making it close to Tarantino's original plan of it being one film. Four fucking hours, brilliant, no yawning at all, made it from 1:30AM to 5:30 in no time. I like that, perhaps I should watch more movies, the downside is coming across stinkers. I feel better watching movies that turn out bad during the day, rather than at night.

I can relate to this, If i get REAL bored ill either try to find a free learning site/program for coding or whatever pops in my head. Lately have been wanting to write short stories for the horror genre.

There is a phrase along the lines of to be in sync with an unhealthy society is not itself a sign of health. While I actually like the society of today, or at least would hold it is better than what came before, the 9-5, weekends off, keep the sabbath full of holes thing is a legacy of the lesser times.

Retreating from people though is not something I am compelled to do. Anonymous in a crowd is better than alone in the woods, though being anonymous in a crowd in the woods is cool.
