Thanks for the great update FluBBa!
Tried out the arg support and its working great for .pce titles, although the bottom screen stays on the 'please wait, loading' when i direct boot a game, and i need to 'x' out to turn the bottom screen off.
Isos wont boot via argv, they say 'file too large', but the same iso will boot fine when launched via regular gui method.

Oh yeah, this emulator now works on DSi via Sudokuhax =D

This sounds like something worth trying, but to be fair, I don't know the first thing about the PCEngine/TurboGraphx16, because no store or nobody I knew at the time even had one, or games for it.

What would be the best examples of the platform if I decide to install this? Also, would the download also come with the plugins to run on the DStwo?

Dunno if all these are supported yet, but I'd advise giving these a run:

Bonk I - III
Legendary Axe I and II
Dragon's Curse
Ys I - III
Castlevania
Valis II and III

To name but a few...

I would love to be able to play Ghouls n Ghosts... How is the framerate currently? Do the latest releases run this game?

I won't even daydream about the possibility to play Akumajou Dracula Rondo of Blood, though. DS is a child... :P

Thanks in advance

At least that one is available on Wii's Virtual Console. Still hard as balls playing it that way.

Hmm, now I can't remember how I got those CD images working before. I read the docs, seems to be taking every step it suggests, but I get a black screen, or if a reboot the virtual TurboCD, I get garbage instead of text.

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways

you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market

Yeah I think Nvidia s future lays in AI GPU acceleration stuff if they can get that going it's going to be super interesting in the long term

@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero

before that there was one to generate a fully modeled scene from a 2D image

but most recently, there was one that actually generates a working unity scene with terrain and textures already set up that you can import right into unity, that's a huge time saver right there
