Is there going to be a v0.7??

I want 6 button support, voices & SE for Street Fighter 2 CE.. is he going to put it in the next update??

Thanks

I've just started to get into the code again, basically trying out some optimzations for the cpu that might even be ported to the GBA version.

Wow....there you go.....an answer straight from the almighty ( almighty source that is ;) ) !!

Fantastic news, thanks Flubba, been following you since the early projects on the GBA .......;)

I'm looking forward to an update my self, I was VERY impressed with this emulator, and only saddened for the fact that it was not on par with Mednefen's Turbo CD sound emulation.

Every time I put my DS's away and think "Yeah I have played you more than enough you deserve a rest" something like this happens...

I think I might buy a new DS with this news... lol

Hi FluBBa, awesome to see NitroGrafx still being updated!
Do you think it would be possible to add arg support? Several DS emulators include it (nesDS, GameYob, CATSFC, Stella, a7800ds, ikuReader), and it'd be really cool to be able to direct boot PCE games too.

Never tried any PCEngine games before but I'm definitely interested once this update comes out.

Any good game suggestions (that I will legally rip of course ;))?

Where do I start with arg support, which menu should I use for that?
I'm still tweaking the 6button emulation as it doesn't work as on real hardware, don't know if any emulators handle that correctly (SFII should disable VS mode when only 1 controller is connected).

http://devkitpro.org/wiki/Homebrew_Menu#ARGV_Protocol

argv support was something wintermute added into hbmenu. after that a few kernels added support, including akaio, wood, and BassAceGold's SCDS2 replacement menu. as far as i know only BAG's menu supports direct rom booting. argv support for akaio and wood was limited, and only provided additional support for a handful of homebrews that required it in one way or another.

sorry i can't be of more help,

Here's some documentation about argv protocol at the devkitpro site. It pertains to HBMenu, but it may be useful.
and here's a quote from BassAceGold about argv at the GameYob thread:
BassAceGold said:
argv[0] is the path to the launched binary (path of the emulator binary) and argv[1] is the path to the file to launch. But you aren't specifically limited to just 2 arguments, you are free to add as many as you want if you don't feel like coding some options into a menu.

edit: AW is a master ninja=P
