Hacking Question Nintendo's July 6th announcement?

I've read in several places (particularly in responses in forums from users who contacted Nintendo regarding bans) that Nintendo would be making some sort of statement or announcement on July 6th. Well here we are, has anyone heard anything?

1: Which board are you saying in should be on? The statement was presumably in reference to exploits, soft mods, and CFW being run on the Switch... So...

Oh I didn't read what was in between the brackets for some reason. Never mind.
But if it's related to CFW or exploits, I can't see Nintendo announcing something publicly about this.

I just saw one person saying this and it's quite dubious for Nintnedo to talk about an announcement through the phone and not the media itself.
And even if it's true, they're usually done late in the day

Asked them when I would I get a response they said Nintendo will have some thing to say on July 6 and then they told me that my account is clean just something with my console

So, the July 6th thing may very well only pertain to their own request, it doesn't necessarily have to be an announcement by the company.

BTW: My uncle just messaged me, the statement might get delayed indefinitely.
