Hello all,

I have a Wii Classic controller Pro and a WiiU. I'm trying to play SM Sunshine but can't do the half pressed button trick for run and ussing the FLUDD at the same time. The mapping seems to be different for me. If i hold L Mario just do the sidestep and I can't run while using the FLUDD instead. Tried with ZL pressed without success.

For me the Wii Controller Pro mapping > Nintendont mapping is:

L > L
R > R
ZR > Z

Is that right? I though from the 1st page information should be ZL > L, ZR > R and R > Z? Right?

Also for reset I need to use L+R+ZR+start (L+R+Z+Start). I think something is wrong.

Thanks

The classic controller does not have analog triggers like gamecube...

There are crc32 collisions so they are not totally accurate.
md5 is A LOT more accurate then crc32.

I'm curious about sha1/sha256 support however.

Well crc32 and md5 are both used in the case of file corruption, not tampering.
It should be fine for a plain integrity check. (A basic crc32 + file size check)
You don't need a sha512sum since the purpose is to mitigate user errors. (From downloading a corrupted/shrinked file mostly)

What is the best config for NC for playing super mario sunshine. The default sucks. (Only good for half sprays)

if its diferent then its a bad iso, you need to either dump or find an iso online wirth 1.35gb and a matching md5.

also dont use any tools for compression, use the full 1.35gb iso with md5 checked.

Hey thanks pedro702. So, it turns out that when I got a PSIOIII .iso with the proper md5, it works great in Nintendont, and Configurable USB Loader, but not USB LOaderGX, but that's an issue for another thread. Thanks for helping me out!

Sirs, I'm just having an issue with Nintendon't.

I have two external HDD's plugged on my WiiU: one FAT32 HD containing Wii and GC games (plugged on the rear USB ports) and another HD formatted by WiiU containing WiiU games (plugged on the front USB ports). Both have the Y-cable, so no issues here.

I can load Wii games and WiiU games without the needing of swap the HDD.

Therefore, if I try to load a GC game in Nintendont or USB Loader GX with the two HDDs connected at the same time, it crashes. If I remove the WiiU external HDD, the GC loads normally.

In sum, if I want to play GC games, I need to remove the WiiU hard disk.

Is there a way to avoid that hard disk checking, or to force Nintendont to only check hard disk on USB1 (the rear ports)?

Thanks!

Ok but what about the trick for the half pressed button using L?
You should be able to simulate the half button press using the top left shoulder button. Hold that button along with the trigger button.

You must always remove any Wii U formatted drive when using Nintendont for now.

Thanks for the reply pedro702. So I downloaded the program, and dragged my PSOIII .iso onto the file. What am I supposed to do with the information that is displayed? It lists a MD5, one that seems to differ with what is listed on redump.org for PSOIII. The program also states "redump:found". What does this mean?

If it says "Redump: found" it means that MD5 is in the database so the disc is good. It doesn't necessarily mean it's the right region, though.

Anybody else experiencing OBSCENE waiting times (specially when theres no virtual MC created for the specific game)
Yep. Sometimes the console just shuts down without properly creating the card file, too.

Yeah, usually quicker to just turn the console off and try again rather than waiting and hoping it doesn't die. It's pretty good once the card is created though.

Shame you can't keep saves on the SD when playing games from USB. Generally found the SD to be much better for save games etc.
