someone please help me!!!
How can i use the Gacko Codes(not ocarina)
Tell me please, where i need to put the cheat files and what format is mostr be(.gct .txt)???

Can somebody help me with metroid prime 1.0. First off i was using wiiflow and then used usb loader gx and cfg usb loader and the codes like infinite health and infinite missiles and infinite balls and all that stuf are not working. plus every time i set ocarina to on, the game freezes with a black screen in both applications. All i did was copied the 2 mastercodes from the geckocodes.org website and the codes from gamehacking.org and put them into a .gcl file.
why would you mix codes from different sources?? that would create more problems than fixing.
and remember, cheat codes are a hit and miss. If they don't work, they don't work. Just make sure your game is working properly without cheat on and your cheats are properly setup.

READ the OP and if you still got problems ask specific questions accordingly with reference to the OP's procedure.
geckocodes.org codes are compatible with ocarina

this gct works only with metroid prime 1.00 tested it myself it gives infinite health if you use 1.02 it will freeze and there is no 1.01 or 1.03 that i found out lol only 1.00 or 1.02.

There was a mod for GCMM for that reason but it didn't work with me, however using Dolphin + the official GCMM you can: A convert your save files to gci format and then move them to your real MC, or B make your own MC backup with Dolphin and then make a "Restore RAW backup" if you do that though you must be sure to use the same size of your MC, it's recommended to make a backup of your MC first as it will erase all your data, I recommend using the first method it's easier and safer!
Where did you find this mod? Searching places only let me find the ancient 2011 mod that's not as good as the latest version from the original coder. I wouldn't mind trying it.

I don't remember, I think from here, but it's probably the same one you tried, they said it works for Nintendont save format but I couldn't even get it to work on my regular MC, you're better off using the official one!

ok i got the gct file from the that pedro gave me to download now there are programs that i have tried to get them to work with ocarina turned on - dios mios, neo gamma, wiiflow and usb loader gx. now my game is on my usb but the apps are my sd card so where do i put the file.

you put it on where the games are and you put the gct for exmaple inside the metroid prime folder
Launching from nintendont directly.

ex
games/metroid prime/game.iso
games/metroid prime/GM8E01.gct

and Of course
Turn cheats On on the settings no cheatpath.

if you launch the game from HBC>Nintendont, the cheat code need to be on the game's partition (if you have games on USB, cheat goes to usb:/codes/, or any other working cheatcode folders. Look at the first post for a cheatcode guide)
If you launch the game from a loader, it should copy the cheat code to the correct folder automatically (at least USBLoaderGX is doing it).
USBLoaderGX is storing the .txt in /txtcodes/ and the .gct in /codes/, it will copy to USB or SD if needed based on your game's partition.

Just note that USBLoaderGX 1246 still check for kenobiwii.bin file, even when using nintendont 335+
just copy that file to /sneek/ folder (or create a fake one) and it will not bother you.

1247 will not check kenobi anymore.

oh right my instructions work if your using nintendont directly not usbloaders and such, those still need the useless kenobiwiin file or something.

finally made a little recording of ocarina of time running in 16:9, it runs nearly flawless as you can see, only the 2d textures inside houses get streched making for some weird scenes and movements cause the collision and everything get set to 16:9.

Ah those pre-rendered background images...
The solemn enemy of 16:9 hacks (I'm looking at you, RE)

ok so there was a file that i think i needed to make the cheats work or for something else. the file was called kenobigc.bin. do i still need that and if i do where do i put it at

Plus the file called kenobiwii.h is already in my sourcecode - gc source - gcbackuplauncher - include

WOOHOOOO Ok guys the
infinite health is working now. i think i just need one more question to ask.
now i have visited the gamehacking.org website and i have the copied these cheats and these are gecko by the way.

Infinite Missiles
04002C90 016879FF

Infinite Balls
00457D1B 00000003

now can these cheats work save them as the gct file and put them in the same folder that my original one was in.

and if you don't mind what kind of mastercode were you using the 2 off the geckocodes.org website or the one that looked like this

(m) datel

just for your interest, most master codes are not needed for nintendont anymore, most really are just setting up a hook for a cheats handler which we already have for all games.

you can simply get a tool called gctedit and open my gct file and add those codes in and save as a gct again.

ok ill deactivate the 2 mastercodes and even the one that looks like (m) datel and see if that works

EDIT
ok but there is one more thing that i gotta worry about
for instance there is like infinite powerballs and missiles and then there is another one called infinite missiles. there are some codes that have like another one just like it but different address. i wonder which one i am supposed to use

EDIT 2
guys i just wanna thank you all so much for helping me i have spent like over 24 hours trying to get the cheats to work but i just hope that the game won't ever freeze or anything like that

that means your 3rd party controller says its a normal classic controller, thats the problem. Easiest way to fix this is to just buy a proper classic controller pro or a wiiu pro controller which I can only recommend.

So I was playing splatoon today, when I used my classic pro controller the game asked med wether I used classic pro or just classic controller.

Got me thinking that even if Nintendo doesnt know which one is connected its not my 3. Party controller fault but that they same controller IDs originally aswell.

Maybe there should be an setting in Nintendont aswell?

CC and CCpro have diferent ids, splatton maybe doesnt have the code to distinguish between the 2, but every wii game and homebrew app clearly have code for both.

http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Wiimote/Extension_Controllers#The_New_Way

first id is 0000 for CC and 0100 for classic controller pro.
