now is v2.230 a WORKING version for you or NOT btw, its confusing.
Not working for him, retested the fix that you have uploaded with my HP ThumbDrive and stills hangs in INIT DI, I use a external HDD now and it's works great. But the ThumbDrive still is broken after 2.230

does after 2.230 mean that 2.230 then worked just fine?
Let me be more clear, my HP Thumbdriver worked great until rev 2.230 in that revision it hangs in INIT DI whatever option I had on/off. Last working rev for my HP Drive was 2.290 now I changed my USB Drive to a External HDD and I don't have more problems with Nintendont.

Did the new usb code added last month break support with 4k sector size hard drives?
The 2tb 2014 Seagate Backup Plus desktop (sector size 4k) does not work after v2.230. Freezes on init di
v2.230 does not work. It gets passed the verbose loading screen but gives black screen on boot for every game.
v2.229 works perfect
Can you make up your mind? It is either 230 or 231 that broke it

I don't know if It matters but my HP Drive have a 512k sector. So I don't know if only the 4k sector sizes broke in 2.230

This is just so strange. My 2tb seagate Backup plus desktop (2013 model, 512 sector) works PERFECT with Nintendont. The new 2tb seagate Backup plus desktop (2014 model, 4k sector) is broken in 2.230

plus I wont be able to test the new drive after today since my sister is taking it to college tomorrow.

Yup its weird, now I'm using a Toshiba 320gb HDD with a generic USB Enclosure and it works great but this drive have a 512k sector size too.

Maybe an unrelated question but, to use my ExtHDD with Nintendont I resized my NTFS partition to 280gb an and leave 40gb to make a FAT32 one for Nintendont. Still, all my homebrew apps (USB Loader GX and WiiExplorer) mounts first my NTFS Partition to USB1 and the FAT32 to USB2 it its normal?

Little question.

I have a few games double PAL and NTSC format.
Is it recommended to use NTSC versions to force 480p, or do PAL games have the same compatibility in 480p as NTSC games ?

[EDIT]
And does the Video patch have to be on for 480p? or is the video patch not really needed?

Thanks

IMO it's better to have NTSC versions since most games support 480P natively.

Great, just tested it out :)

(Now that i have lend a Wii with working disc drive for a few days to rip my GC games)

I had Ripped my Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings discs and it only worked in "Force PAL60" "Force PAL480p" gave me a black screen with sound and after a few seconds only black screen and the only thing i could do was soft reset the Wii
Then i ripped my Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings US discs and those work perfect in "Force NTSC 480p" Quality of picture is better then the PAL60 from the PAL version, Not amazingly better, but you notice it :D

Thanks

Mario Kart Arcade GP is taking me to a blackscreen. Normal wii, no dios/quadforce installed, no custom settings for nintendont. Renamed from .bin to .iso.

Is it possible I'm using a bad dump? If so can someone give me a hash?

Also, I don't know if this is related but wiiflow also isn't recognizing it even exists.

And all the other gamecube games that I have work perfectly.

Enable Memory card emulation and test it again. Also, the size of a working mario arcade gp backup is usually 336mb.

WOAH it worked.

Also, it looks like I got one encoded for pal, is there one for ntsc? (yes forcing the video works fine but it's always nice to have less settings involved).

Another question, already answered, but could not find it in the 1000+ pages

I keep on getting hiss sound in games that use streaming audio (Crazy Taxi, Bomberman Generations, Eternal Darkness,...)
I tried fstfix with the -t (align 32k) also with -s (streamfix) and used DMToolbox, also DiscEx, none of them fixes it :/

or do i have to set something in nintendont settings (or CFG-usbloader) ?

Thanks
