v2.207. I seem to get a black screen with Phantasy Star Online Episode 3 when booting. I'd file a formal bug report but I assume it must be something that I'm doing wrong on my side rather than with Nintendont. Settings are all default except for Memory Card Emulation enabled (251).

PSO 1+2 Plus works fine.

episode 3 works fine for me but only when its a full iso.

r190 or a bit earlier broke GC pad support in F-Zero AX. I'm getting Error 12 "JVS I/O board does not fulfill.. blah blah." if GC pad is plugged in. Game starts with classic controller though, but problem is - i have really cheap fake classic controller which works like a crap and it's quite hard to find new or at least working classic controller these days - out of stock in all stores, only wiimotes and nunchuks available and eBay is full of fakes and broken stuff and usually it's the broken electronic parts impossible to repair.

Just buy the japanese version of the classic controller pro. they are super cheap compared to the now overpriced American versions. here is the amazon link http://www.amazon.com/Wii-Classic-C...107370&sr=8-3&keywords=classic+controller+pro

If it corrupting when being read. Could you try posting booth a good image and a non working one so they can be compared?
Like I said it doesn't corrupt. For some reason nintendont will stop detecting my memory card when I use it on anything else that is not nintendont.

its not impossible... just let nintendont create an individual memory card and save on it and then all you need to do is make copys that memory card and rename it with the ids for all your games, then on dolphin on one of the tabs you open your full memcard dump on one side and the individual on the other and just transfer the save then open the next individual one and transfer the respective save and so on it takes 5-10 mins tops unless you have 300 games on your memory card.

It's impossible, been there and done that. You'll see in my post history, I've described the issue a number of times. There are some games which require multiple .GCIs on a memory card, and when transferring one of those parts of the save data in dolphin, you get an error from dolphin stating there is already save data for that game on the virtual card you are transferring it to. So the save can not be transferred. That is for games which save data for seperate aspects of the game across multiple save entries. There are also many other games which allow the user to keep and hold a number of save files for their particular game. These are similarly incompatible. Unless dolphin is updated to allow people to transfer the saves properly, or a new tool which allows this is developed, it is impossible.

And as I've mentioned in my previous post, at this point in time, there is no real benefit even if it were possible, aside from the fact that we could use smaller memory card files for each game. There is a risk of encountering errors due to memory issues when using a larger file. with 8 mb the risk is somewhat small. With 16mb the risk is real enough that there is already talk of disabling this option entirely.

lol you must have done something wrong then becuase for instance i cant trafer sonic battle 2 main save and the chaos save preety fine, if dolphin says that its becuase they are excatly the same files.

They were definitely different files, dolphin just recognizes them as belonging to the same game and doesn't allow you to proceed. I tried it on the most recent version of dolphin. If it were updated so that message were only a general warning and not a complete roadblock, it would be a different situation.

The sonic adventure games are okay because the saves for their game is kept across only two separate entries. It's when you get into games like the THPS series where there are multiple skaters or custom park data, or RE4 where you can have multiple typewriter entires. There were quite a few games that threw me this error, I wish I could remember them all at this time. I bought the GameCube around the time the players choice series came out, and I had amassed quite a library by the end of the system's supported life. Nearly 3 full bins of games, a lot more than I ever had for the wii. I certainly had a large sample set of games to work with :P

We really need more info. The only thing off top my head is the game needs a RAW 1:1. Nobody could possibly help with such little info. Back track a page or two, find the form for game issues and someone might have a clue where to start

Sorry, I accidentally posted before I finished typing (this website is very buggy on mobilesafari) and I have since edited/finished the post with some examples.
again i just got my RE3 file which has 3 saves 2 for billy and one for rebeca i right clicked on dolphin 4.0 copy to card in slot B and it all worked ...

I have it sorted now, thanks. My own copy ripped from my own disc didn't work nor did another version I tried, but eventually another rip worked fine. Third time lucky eh. Strange, but anyway it's working now.

Hmm. Interesting. I don't remember what happened when I tried that particular game, I think I already gave up before I even got up to that one. But there were certainly a few games which threw that error.

If it works for someone else with their particular games, that's great, it's a good idea to do so and I would reccomend taking the time to do it. I can't personally practice what I preach as it didn't work for me, although with my procedure of using the raw backup and keeping backups of the raw file on other directories and devices, I have found a solution that suits my needs. Unless I experience an error caused by using an 8mb save file (I haven't yet) I will likely continue with my method.

It works fine with 2.155. But, whenever I download a new version from https://code.google.com/p/nintendon-t/ it ends up in a black screen.
I tried a few minutes ago so I suppose the download link links to the latest Nintendont version.

May be I am not doing something right. Not only do I download and rename the file but I also overwrite meta.xml & icon.png. Is this the correct process ?
Do you get the black screen when launching Nintendont, or when launching a game? If it's Nintendont, try deleting nincfg.bin

Hi everybody!, I would just like to point out when it comes to the wii I don't know about wiiu don't own one it doesn't matter what hard drive you have it all matters on the sata to usb adapter that is used on the hard drive, yes to amount of Rotations Per Minute do matter but it doesn't make much of a difference. also cluster allocation does make a tiny bit of a difference i've noticed 64kb cluster sizes doesn't make games crash as much.

I don't know if this problem has been posted somewhere in the previous ~800 pages (not really showing up on search), but I'll post and see if anyone can help.
Precursor: games on usb:/games, always worked fine before. USB: 8Gb, 1 partition, fat32 (32k cluster)
After enabling cheats, memcard emu, the game ran fine, but after enabling native wii as well, nintendont crashed bad, and filled my usb drive up with randomly named files, etc, unrecoverable.
I reformatted the usb drive, but now not even hbc can load homebrew apps from it. CFG USB loader will find games (ssb melee) on it, and DIOS MIOS will boot them, but nintendont crashes.
This is such a weird half-working state, I'd really like to use nintendont again, but when I boot it, and select usb, it says No FAT device found or missing usb:/games directory.

I've already tried reformatting a couple different ways, I've tried multiple version of nintendont, and cfg usb loader, and on the off chance that it's an IOS problem I reinstalled the only custom ios's I have (236/d2x-248). No luck.
Any help would be appreciated.
Update: I wiped the partition table on the usb drive (more than just a reformat, I actually "dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdx bs=512 count=1"), and remade it that way, now hbc can read apps, so I'm assuming nintendont will start working with games again.

Nintendont really messed up that drive, but I don't know why neither windows nor linux said there was a problem. I'm really happy I got the drive working again, though.

EDIT: context

Use Tapatalk for iOS to browse the forum, it's much better that using the MobileWeb.

Sorry for the Off

So Cyan u have access to commit to Nintendont, is changing the way the version is detected something u can do or does FIX94 have to make that change?
I could do it, but I will prefer asking everyone else first.
Maybe adding the version in a string (like the "argsboot" array) in loader's main.c, instead (or additionally) of placing it in a header file will be enough, but developers will have to agree to replace that version manually every time they update other files.
I don't know dol's structure very well, maybe the makefile could force the version to be located at a specific location in the dol too.
The build date is already written in the dol (not using string or decimal variables, but found when hexediting the dol), maybe adding the version at the same time will work too.
