You can choose the video mode in nintendont settings before loading a game. Not sure about the sound issues, maybe trying to delete the nincfg before loading nintendont.
Btw, are you using the latest version of loadergx? It's been a really long time since I got a dsi exception

I use r60 due to wanting Burnout 2 to work. Unfortunately it still doesn't.
Anyway, after testing for the last couple of hours, i have had some success in nintendont, booted from homebrew channel. Got about 30 games working (no save though). However, no steady response from within USBL GX. It sometimes works, it mostly codedumps (I use r1226). I have to to keep deleting the nincfg.cfg file in order to avoid codedumps from USBL GX for Nintendont.
I ''bypass'' the need to go into HBC by loading nintendont via GX's channel mode icon in the hb directory.

BTW can anyone please tell me how do i rename the MemoryCardA.raw file in the /saves folder of my HDD? I dumped my 1059 memory card but i still can't get nintendont to save. Finally, HOW do i choose options from within nintendond? I can only see HOME:EXIT, A:CHOOSE & B:STOP BOOT as button options. Is there anything else?

There is bound to be a save on the net around 50-60%. Hope u get what your looking for. I prefer to play the Metroid games on the Wii through MP Trilogy so I won't really be testing those games, I prefer the better controls and sharper graphics.

I agree, except for the missing beam effects and water shaders in Metroid Prime 1.

pedro702, i can provide you with my 100% Metroid Prime 1 & 2 GC savegames if you'd like (PAL versions, everything scanned, found and beaten in hard).

==EDIT==
I also forgot to mention another gripe: Wavebird does not work with Nintendont, only a wired GC pad does.

P.S. I attach my Metroid Prime savegames here:

Well, now i have another problem, button L and button R, doesn't work in zelda wind waker, but ONLY in zelda ww, in mario sunshines both works, in tales of symphonia works, and in luigi mansions works. What can i do?
P/D= Mario sunshine ntsc-u in rvn 1.83 sometimes crashes.
P/D2= Tales of symphonia works very well, in battles and everything in rvn 1.83, how can I edit the compatibility list?

There is a known problem using loaders launch nintendont directly from home brew for best results .

Use gcmm to dump your real cards , use dolphins memory card manger to inject them into a 2 mb save that works with nintendont .

Memory Card dumps DO NOT work with NIntendon't
Here is what you need to do:
Run the game in Nintendon't first, let Nintendon't create the Memory Card file for THAT specific game. After that you will see that a /saves/ folder has been created in your device.

Open it up, look for the save with your Game ID and take your MemoryCardA.raw file and the GameID.raw file to Dolphin.
From your MemoryCardA.raw, move the save file of the game you want to the GameID.raw (should be something like GALE.raw in the case of Super Smash Bros. Melee) and then you have all your saved data from your original memory card in the Nintendon't save file.

Hope that helped.

For the most part what Shadow said is right, however to do that you first need to load nintendont and press B to stop the autoboot (you must have had that enabled in LoaderGX options); then when you choose USB, you'll see your gamelist and the message for B button changes to "Settings" so press that, enable MCEmu and HID, then press B again to get back to choosing your game, load it as usual and format the memory card when prompted to do so. Since each memory card is exclusive for each game, you'll have to format them all the first time you play them.

Then as Shadow said, you have to use Dolphin's MC manager in the computer to transfer the save for the game to your GameID.raw file, you'll probably have to delete the savefile nintendont created before transfering yours.

put this DigitalLR=1 in your controller.ini and should work

Leaving the ethics and discussion of disc verification out of it (and this thread, this is the thread for that), let's look at what both do right now, in terms of features and compatibility (+ indicates a benefit, - indicates a disadvantage):

Nintendont:
+ Allows you to use nearly any USB game pad (no, no Xbox 360 controllers without some sort of middleman adapter) as a controller (including Dualshock 3, but hooked up via wire only)
+ Has really good memory card emulation (except it doesn't work directly with real memory card dumps, requires Dolphin to act as a middleman when moving saves), but doesn't support real memory cards
+ Has video mode patching and forcing for games that don't support other video modes, including forcing progressive scan and widescreen
+ Open source, so anyone can contribute and continue it, should the project stop
+ Supports cheat codes directly (Ocarina style, I think?)
- Compatibility is lower than Devolution, but the project is still young (only a few months old)
- No Bluetooth support (yet, it's being worked on), so no Wii controllers or Wii U Pro Controllers support
- No emulated modem or keyboard support yet, so no online play for PSO
- No streaming audio support yet

Devolution:
+ Compatible with all Wii controllers pretty much (including Wii U Pro Controller)
+ Has higher compatibility than Nintendont, but it's a more mature project (been out much longer)
+ Has really good memory card emulation (works with raw dumps from real MCs or Dolphin), and supports real GC memory cards
+ Compatible with Dualshock 3 controllers wirelessly
+ Emulates the GC modem and keyboard, so one can play PSO in online mode
+ Has streaming audio support
- No direct cheat code support (what about action replay, and using the real game as disc 2?)
- Closed source, so if the project dies, it can never be continued realistically
- No video mode patching, but it does support a widescreen hack

I say use them both (they don't really conflict in any way, since they don't hijack your MIOS). They both have good features.

Don't forget that Nintendon't has Cheat codes option. Something that Devolution really lacks as that is the main reason why I switch between the two so often.
