idk if you're tueidj or not.

Obviously I'm not the real tueidj. I chose this name to show what opinion I have of him. Since the work "jerk" is part of my name, it is not diffecult to figure out that I don't like him.

that's very unprofessional of you then. Even if the original can be picky sometimes :p

It wouldn't take longer since the IPL would load the game instead of our loader all the patching is done on the ARM side anyway.

I wonder if IBM CPU on user mode needs to switch to FIQ or IRQ mode (as any ARM would), to write fragments to framebuffer. Because if so then this could enable some idle time, fill the fbuffer with blackdots then perform the animation. Then if done proceed with the normal gameloading process.

Excellent progress Guys now this functions are the only ones missing, i hope they are ready in a few months.

Play audio via disc audio streaming
Bluetooth controller support (Wiimote, Wii U Pro, ..)
Allow use of the Nintendo GameCube Microphone
Use real memory card

It's probably easier to load the IPL (and patch the read functions) than to actually RE the animation and recode it.

So it is at least possible. But from an aesthetic point of view: Do you like this animation? Or would you prefer to just display the nintendont logo? Or would you like to keep the loader screen as it is right now?

The log didn't really contain any other useful info, just generic OSReport info about the game initialising CARD, AX, etc., in addition to the patches that Nintendont itself performed.
Knowing where the errors took place in relation to those generic messages might be useful.

Some games that are fully working on v1.80

serious sam
true crime new york
bad boys miami takedown

all added to the compat list already.

How about loading dols from within a game? So demos and collection games work. :D

Just created a cache file for Susnshine that works great. It is only designed to go until the end of bianco hills, but there is faster loading to the main menu as well as during level select and much more. I will upload shortly.

Edit: I actually want to see the maximum number of files I can cache, so i'll take some more time with the testing.

Here's a functional cache file for Super Mario Sunshine. It caches the files for loading delfino plaza (felt that was the #1 issue as these are loaded each time you complete/die on a level), the files at the beginning of the game, and all the files for bianco hills (including the secret level). Overall, load times for each level should be improved as some files are loaded for each level and I have added those to the file. It seems to be the only cache file to include files other than the level szs files. Please tell me how it works for you and enjoy!
