I've tried using dolphin with debugger enabled, but since it's all about memory adresses and stuff, it's hard to tell if it actually shows whether a certain file is loaded or not. Maybe it's just me being clueless about it, but at any rate, it doesn't seem to be something easy to do.

Okay I just found how to show files loaded in Dolphin :P

Simply enable "show log" and "show config" beside it, and in the check box enable "attention"

Now I see what is loaded at once finaly :P

Hi, I was testing file cacheing, but was getting error causing Wii turn OFF. I've made blank cache.txt for any game on game folder - game isn't crash without cache.txt present on folder. What am I doing wrong?

Leaving cache.txt blank :P

what version of nintendont are you using?

Already got past the "Loading main.dol...." error on r1.31 :)
I deleted nincfg.bin along with all the Nintendon't related files from the root of the SD Card and USB (excluding IPL and both font files, I left those ones in there)
This means also the nlog and the other one that is created.

Just deleted them and the games are now booting normally.

Always stuck on checking fs have formatted my SD card 5 times and also can't load with Wii flow or USB loader Gx

Incompatible sd card unless you can find the perfect format for it:glare:

So, there isn't any multiplayer support yet?

Only with bc wiis

Is the SD Card speed important with Nintendont?
I have a class 4 16GB SD Card and my SSBM iso takes so long to boot (20 seconds) and always freeze at main screen (with every version of nintendont). It's reported as working in the compat list but I can't play it

And Luigi's mansion is verry slow and graphics take a lot of time to appear.

Try a different sd card

So how can I know what files should be on cache.txt file? Better if Nintendont made that file...

Well, we have to do it manualy, and for now I found out how to see files loaded in dolphin, look at my post I made about it an hour ago.
I am working for the cache.txt of zelda windwaker ntsc by the way :P

that post you made about dolphin was really helpful thank you, im right now trying it out on zelda wind waker too, just trying to get a idea of what to put on the cache.txt file

VinsCool

Dolphin can be used for make cache.txt file? pc have diff hw, and load file from different hw (sata vs usb).
Maybe all iso need to be FST.
How you take the file? how you manage the subdir? u look inside the FILES directory? and FILES\ is root on cache.txt?

Wondering if there is a way to made some plugin for Dolphin that made cache file for nintendont... Cacheing files is good way but for now it is complicated as hell

For now, most of the files loaded seems similar to the one I puted in my first cache.txt I uploaded yesterday, right now I am copy pasting most of what is loaded in different scenes or rooms... I will come back about it when it will be done later.

No, I just figured out how we can see what is loaded, and I am copy pasting files manualy in cache.txt. for directories, I am just guessing that dir/dir2/file.bin (example) is the correct way to load files.

I was wondering about that cause the file names are the same but in different folders

well, it is what the log in dolphin shows files, I copy the entire path for files in folder and copy it in the cache.txt and also in fst the files are in the same path.
and there is no need to use extrcted fst I guess, because my test worked successfuly yesterday.

Edit: Sure, here you go ;)
Edit2: I changed my cache.txt, it is related to the title screen and the island where the game starts. Could someone test it? I have no access to my wiiU right now.

I have tested a new game:

Bloody Roar Primal Fury (PAL) with v1.39 on a PAL Wii U. It boots but shows black screen after creating memory card data file.

:(

I tried your cache.txt file you posted, I don't think it caches anything it loads the game to fast but i experimented with the one you made i changed the file names like for example: res/Msg/bmgres.arc changed it to this bmgres.arc and that seems to cache something cause it took longer to load the game and with version 1.37 it will tell you when nintendont is caching files

Edit: i made one to but i can't figure out which one to cache cause mine didn't work and it was close to being the same as yours
