Close to correct. It tries to load ipl.bin if found. If not, both sjis (Japanese) and ansi (Latin) are tried.

That's roughly how I do it, but I don't have a usbgecko, so I use log files. I compare Dolphin and Nintendont, paying especially close attention to the things we're patching Disc, EXI (Memcard, IPL,...), Audio, DSP, Serial (controllers). You have to be careful, though, as some changes are the result of Nintendont's patches (e.g. a lot of the EXI functions are completely patched out [EXILock, EXIUnlock,...]).
I've already spent more than 15 hours looking at FZero. Best guess right now is related to the first access to the memory card, which I'm not seeing in Nintendont. Requesting me to work on certain things isn't likely to change what I work on. If anything the opposite is true. And don't try sending me requests to work on 563 NTSC games either with one conveniently missing. I'm not falling for that crafty plan.

Not a request for you to do anything , just a question I directed out because the dolphin I use shows me nothing and since I have usbgecko I was wondering about looking at another route where I could play around and maybe help

grabbed latest version and hard crash no matter what - loaded from usb loader gx, wiiflow and the nintendont loader. sorry i can't test more now but if i do, ill certainly post more than this.

i deleted nincfg with the same effect and i have ipl.bin and the two font files on the root of usb, loading games from usb.

anybody can help?

I'll have access to the Mayflash WiiU Pro Controller USB Adapter this weekend.
I'll look into it and see what's going on. BTW; which port do you have it plugged into?
I have notice some delay with the front ports, but that was back in r45.

No need to look, the origonal posters problem was solved this afternoon. It was caused by a bad controller.ini The nintendont_wiiuprousb.ini in the svn is correct.
demi_du if your having the same problem download the file from the svn

That bit wasn't directed at you. Just a general observation. I can't speak for other devs either. Maybe that's just me.

There are some things that are more likely to get me to work on something. If something used to work, but doesn't now, especially if the exact version that caused the break is identified it's more likely to get my attention. More especially still, if I broke it.

Everyone PLEASE state what version you are having problems with. Within the last 4 hours their have been 5 different versions that could be called the latest.
State which games you are having problems with and if they worked previously.
If something worked previously state what was the last version it worked in. If we know what version broke something it is 10x more likely to get fixed quickly.
State when the problem occures.
State what the problem looks like. (black screen, green screen, frozen screen, error message, went back to loader, stuck sound, ect)
State anything that you have done to try and correct the problem.

The more information you give the more usefull the problem report is

Not to mention some people reads the first post and assumes that the "latest version" is the one linked as 1.00 release... He should also mention the console he's using.

I will look for that tomorow, I'm tired and I am at work this next morning, I will look at debug logs and dolphin build to finaly find what files I have to cache :P

I've tried using dolphin with debugger enabled, but since it's all about memory adresses and stuff, it's hard to tell if it actually shows whether a certain file is loaded or not. Maybe it's just me being clueless about it, but at any rate, it doesn't seem to be something easy to do.

I get the point, but when I say latest, I mean I just downloaded it now. Which ever version was up when I posted was the one I used. Again I see why you are specifying.

The crash was a normal DSI excpetion error screen.

Since you were already posting, you could have posted which version it was... According to your logic, it would be the latest r35 then? Have you tried previous versions to see if they worked?

Thanks very much, i read the origonal posters problem before i"m going to buy a Mayflash WiiU Pro Controller Adapter . so it means that the Mayflash WiiU Pro Controller Adapter can be used very well with he nintendont_wiiuprousb.ini in the svn, right ?

but there is another question: i want to use a controller wireless, i don't like a usb cable , so i'd like to choose the Mayflash WiiU Pro Controller Adapter and use my wiiu pro controller wireless
but WiiU Pro lacks analog shoulder buttons, so i think if i can use a ps3 controller wireless ? ps3 controller have analog shoulder buttons . and i found this production :

http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-PS3-...8&qid=1399613091&sr=8-3&keywords=mayflash+ps3

with this production , ps3 controller can be used wirelessly ?

you know my english is not good .. and i'm from china it's not a easy thing for me to buy this Wireless PS3 Controller USB Adapter , so could somebody help me to know if this production can be used?

if it can be used, i think ps3 conroller will be the best controller for nintendont to use .

You never know if an adapter will work unless someone tries it.

I haven't seen any posts about that adapter. Someone must buy and test it first. If it just doesn't respond then it's not compatible. If it has problems then the devs may fix it.

I'm one of those people who like to use my gamecube controller for Nintendont since that's what i'm used to playing them with.

Yeah, there's no better controller for playing Gamecube games than the Gamecube controller. Not just because that's what I'm used to, but because the games were designed to use it's unique button layout.
