woops I was wrong, MassiveRican said it was working great on nintendont, but didn't mention analog triggers... someone else said it was digital only. My bad.

The weird thing is, the triggers have the holes that would be used for the analog slides. What it really weird is that the original classic controller has analog trigger buttons. Now that I found out that Nintendont can emulate the analog triggers on the Wii U Pro controller I have no more issues with Super Mario Sunshine and I can run and spray with the best of them. By holding the "L" button, the "ZL" and "ZR" buttons are treated as half held analog triggers.

I am really glad I didn't get one. With it being licensed by Nintendo you would think it would have all the features of the GameCube controller minus the rumble since that can't be done to a Wii Remote accessory.

Thinking about analog, would it be possible to have analog triggers if we mod the controller to have the connectors from the original classic controller ?

Or someone could make a GameCube to Wii Remote adapter and Nintendont would treat the GameCube controller as a Classic Controller. That would be the easiest if it can be done via wires and not need a microchip.

It would.
You'll just have to add the controller Hex into the same If state (with a conditional OR) and that would be it.

I don't understand where you go.
I was thinking about a hard mod actually.

It already exist, it is the mayflash gamecube to wiimote adaptor.

Wasn't aware of that but it still doesn't allow the controller itself to rumble which is my favorite part of the GameCube Controller. I just hope that the Official Wii U USB GameCube adapter can easily be added to Nintendont for that GameCube feel. I guess if Sony never started controller vibration, I wouldn't be so addicted to it. That feedback just makes the more immersive.

Just tested sunshine with those gamecube classic controllers and was able to run and shoot while holding left bumper and the right trigger
I stated that in one of previous posts a few minutes ago. I am happy that someone told me about it as it was driving me mad not being to chase and spray Shadow Mario.

Well, I had a (dirty) workaround. I taped my wiimote back on my CC, so can I get "rumble" on my CC.

Just don't do what I did some time ago. Duct tape glue is really hard to remove from surfaces :D

A hardware modification, like putting the original classic controller chipset on the pdp classic controller, this way to have analog triggers, just like an original gc controller. :P
It is possible.
Although, you would have to do some rewiring and soldering to change the buttons to those of the PDP, as well for their push buttons..
Annoying in my opinion if you want the CC board to fit into a GC shaped controller.

Edit:
Oh and the most annoying part will be the D-Pad/Analog Stick position.
That would be a pain.

Or solder the Classic Controller board on a empty Gamecube controller :D
I would like to do that, but I don't want to break my remaining controllers :D

It won't fit.
The CC board is wider and you will struggle with the position of the D-Pad

You are better off creating a custom mold for the controller and repositioning both triggers, as well as replacing the ZR and ZL buttons with larger ones and in front of the analog ones.

yeah, only speculations. That would be awesome If someone knows how to build:
- A gamecube controllers shaped.
- Built-in wiimote, including rumble and IR.
- built-in Classic Controller buttons.

Usable in in Nintendont, that would be awesome

I'm happy to report that all the games in my collection boot and are playable! :) thanks for this piece of software, it's wonderful!

Also, I remember someone talked about melee having sound clipping etc, well it happened to me, and the music also went off in a battle with master hand but I don't really care, maybe it's a random issue, it fixes when I continue playing anyways.

Using a RAW ISO.
